The butler was hilariously

Enjoying it so much. It's one of my 3 favorite musicals, along w Oklahoma! and Les Mis.

I love how they have Og really play up that he isn't human, he looks human, but from the way he moves, the way he holds his body, his facial expressions, the tone of his voice, you can tell that he's something else, truly phenomenal! Like the bit about the sunbeam pretending to be a fairy queen that set him on fire, Sharon reacts like he's speaking poetically, and usually actors will deliver the line like they're being poetic with the line, but no, Og is being totally serious, he KNOWS a sunbeam when he interacts with one, and the only point of comparison he has for what he's feeling is when a sunbeam sets him on fire, so therefore Sharon MUST be a sunbeam because she's the one who caused the feeling, but she looks like a fairy queen, hence the line. Flawless delivery! And he was like that the whole time! Pretending to be a frog, confusing Susan for Sharon because of the way she makes him feel and only identifying the difference when he tastes her! Dude truly understood the character in a way most actors I've seen do it simply don't.
