Although this is clearly a joke to us, it’s kinda wrong to get those responses from people when you know they will use their confirmation bias of xenophobia (the archetypal Arab or Muslim man with a beard) to inform their apparently necessary response fuelled by social desirability (having to say something in order to look competent on camera). This is problematic because you are intentionally playing on existing xenophobic ideologies in order to make people look stupid and to get us the audience to laugh but you’re also reinforcing that xenophobia and ethnocentric bigotry in them. This is more problematic than funny.
