Mario kart will probaly have the lowest by a hour at msot do to it being in Hollywood. Not by much buy by a tiny tiny bit
ОтветитьGreat work! Loved that you used statistics to figure this out. There will be other factors to consider in the beginning though, such as Universal planning on only allowing one day at Epic with a multi day pass.
Ответить99% of people don’t do it all in one day new stuff always will bring a draw
ОтветитьDisney has been dropping alot recently 🤷🏼♂️ and with everyone posting post empty it is kinda says something but I guess you don’t count any of that, Labor Day was one of disneys lowest in the last few years
ОтветитьI think 2026 or 2027 will be the 1st time i will attend this park
ОтветитьYou don't think they will beat magic kingdom I bet it will😂
ОтветитьI will say a head designer or someone for universal can’t remember his role was interviewed and confirmed epic universe for April or may of 2025
ОтветитьDid I miss it or did you not talk about each ride's number of riders per hour? I feel that will contribute to ride times quite a bit. e.g. Hagrid's Moterbike is moving 1,700 people per hour yet still has 120+ minute wait times most days. For Epic you have Curse of the Werewolf with 20 riders per train so assuming a train can be dispatched every 1.5 to 3 minutes that will average 400 to 800 riders per hour. Compared to Starfall Racers which should have 2 trains holding 60 guests and dispatch every 1-2 minutes that will move between 1,200 to 2,400 people per hour. I suspect most rides will move around 600-800 people per hour which times 12 rides averages around 7,200 to 9,600 people per hour in total.
I think 10+ million people is a good ballpark figure for Epic per year which equates to around 27.7K people per day on average. More at peak and less during the off months. If you take 27.7K divided by 9,600 that's an average of 2.8 hours per ride. Of course that increases/decreases a lot depending on the number of guests, people moved per hour, and the popularity of the ride. It also doesn't account for people not riding (eating, enjoying shows, or can't ride) Overall I can easily see 120+ minute wait times for all premium rides and 60+ minutes for the smaller rides for the first year or two. I think after 3+ years the standard wait times will be comparable to the rides at IOA.
I disagree with your comment that one ride won't have much longer lines than the others as they are all brand new. the entire Nintendo world section will be slammed for at least the first year this park is open. I believe wait times there will certainly be longer than the rest of the park.
ОтветитьThank you SO MUCH for your coverage of this upcoming park! My gf and I have been planning wayyyy ahead for this eventual-trip out to Florida, and channels like yours are perfect for our planning/hype lol :)
ОтветитьWe are going to stay away for at least a year.
ОтветитьThe ministry of magic ride will have the highest queue time all day. I can't see it being any other way.
ОтветитьNo! Express pass and No! single day tickets will be sold for the first year.. Everyone will need to purchase a multi day ticket and you will ONLY be able to visit Epic Universe once with this type of ticket.
ОтветитьGo on the weekdays
Ответитьi'm sorry but i have to disagree. the disney and universal parks are empty because kids are going back to school, not just that families are saving for epic universe...
ОтветитьShort answer: long
Long answer: looong
You have to consider capacity and, to a lesser extent, height requirements. Donkey Kong is going to have the longest line, followed by Mario Kart. Then either Monsters Unleashed or Ministry of Magic, then Stardust Racers
ОтветитьWith today's tech it seems like it would be easy to give out time slots to get into line. Gee that sounds familiar. And even limit the numbers of people in the parks, to something that makes for a positive experience. I know a totally new genius idea. There are a couple of small parks that do cap their daily attendance. Its a smart move to bolster your experience, you will talk about how good your day was and not about how miserable the crowds were. Best advertisement ever. Little or no $ spent on it.
ОтветитьAnderson Scott White John Jackson Melissa
ОтветитьI’m certainly not going on grand opening that’s for sure.
ОтветитьBro trippin everyone on earth who has the money will be there opening year
ОтветитьIt opens may
ОтветитьLate summer hurricane had other ideas
ОтветитьI plan on going towards the last week of August. Hope it's not terrible.
ОтветитьInfinity♾️ gates also has dark universe and super Nintendo world and Harry Potter and how to train your Dragon
ОтветитьDisney said I’m going to fix that problem
ОтветитьDisney said I’m going to fix that problem do you know who picks a fight Mickey and it’s not the universal head. It’s the woody the woodpecker he is the boss of universal
ОтветитьDisney said I’m going to fix that problem do you know who picks a fight Mickey and it’s not the universal head. It’s the woody the woodpecker he is the boss of universal Mickey said no
ОтветитьI trust Mickey I never racist park I never do that
ОтветитьUniversal is the problem
ОтветитьBut I’m shocked because they have Nintendo they have Pokémon
ОтветитьRemember, super Nintendo world with the stare always
ОтветитьWhy I say no
ОтветитьMy favorite is Harry Potter. That’s the most my favorite mystery and magic.
ОтветитьMost people I’ve talked are only really hyped for SNW. That land will be swamped constantly and have to use the reservation system in Hollywood and Japan.
Comparing to Disney’s HS is also a good call. HS is a 1/2 day park if you only ride E tickets with passes and have a meal, and EU will probably be the same way. You have to think down the road when all this stuff is 3-4 yrs old and everyone has ridden every ride already.
Honestly, EU feels like a combo of HS and IOA. Which is fine, but it still feels like it’s missing something. Maybe if they weren’t strung up by the HP contract they could do a bit more extra stuff.
I’m planning on going in 2027 I think a lot of ppl are tho😭
ОтветитьI'm glad that Stardust Racers will be a capacity monster
ОтветитьI'll wait til 2027-2028 for it to die down a bit.... and wait til I can afford an express pass when they offer it and if its still busy then.
ОтветитьIf the lines are more interactive instead just constantly waiting, then its a bit more bearable.
ОтветитьProbably going to still be shorter than the lines at Disney haha 😂
ОтветитьAnyone here after the park date was announced?
ОтветитьIt's gonna be so funny if nobody shows up.
ОтветитьI'm gonna go for 2029.
ОтветитьI did the vip tour it was amazing.
ОтветитьHow is curse of the Werewolf a D ticket attraction? It should be one of the top rides in the park for adults
ОтветитьI'm gonna wait at least until they get the first day flubs out
ОтветитьI’m going in August we’ll see how hot it is and how long the lines are 💀
ОтветитьGonna be there may 22nd!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьNo one knows . . . . .
