It seems the bodybuilder doesn't want to use 100% of his power. It was like he used only less than 50% of his power because he is too too strong so if he used his full power he would break his opponents' hand less than 1 second.

Almost 50yrs ago when I was in high school there were two brothers, one my age, the other a yr older. These two were like 5ft 8 or 9in tall, very average in build , nothing that would physically draw attention, but let me tell ya, these two young fella's probably would have tied for being the sheer strongest males in the school regardless of size or age. (About 2400 students) Looks can be deceiving.

No mystery here. You increase weight constantly not reps to get stronger not as much bigger. You do massive number of reps to get built like the big clown. One is to get stronger the other is for show.

Thus proving that muscle definition doesn't necessarily mean strength
