I remember watching the show and loving the opening theme.
ОтветитьFor context, that old 2000s Fox show Fastlane cost $20,000,000 per episode.
ОтветитьJohn Wesley Shipp is still the best Flash we ever saw on screen.
ОтветитьI found the whole series on DVD at Best But today last one there...😁😁😁
ОтветитьThis was the first comic book tv series that got the costume right.
And yes.. it respected the material.
How can they take products that sold for 50 years and then make multiple huge changes to them?
When you said the "other superhero film" composed by Danny Elfman I immediately thought of Hulk (2003)...the one everyone loves! 😂
ОтветитьMy fav Flash
ОтветитьWhat in the world was that at the end lmao!
ОтветитьThe whole season is on a ARrrr "website" idk if its on HD though.
ОтветитьMark Hamill as trickster in this show and in the newer flash is just amazing
Trickster you stole my heart thank you
I loved this show when I was a kid! Great to see it getting some love in 2023!
ОтветитьLoved this show. If they could have somehow controlled costs, I think the network wouldn't have killedit. The 1940-50s style cars were mistake in my opinion. The show was set in modern times. I mean, they had computers and 1980s-90s fashions. I didn't get the point of having old timey cars in a modern setting. Dropping those would have been one great way to control costs.
They also didn't do any merchandising with it. I know that things were not as fan boyish as they are today, but they could have capitalized and recouped a lot of the costs with decent merchandising.
Ha JoBlo done an episode on the 1990 Captain America movie or the Reb Brown TV movies? I think you should. I still think it sad Reb never got a cameo in current Captain America movies.
ОтветитьYou should do little monsters
ОтветитьI didnt see adam west on this show. I watched the whole series
ОтветитьThe first movie I seen in the theater was Batman 89 and was 9 years old and then the Flash TV show came out not long after that and I was hooked and then not Long after that the X-men, Spiderman, and Batman animated shows came out and was absolutely captivated and still am 30+ years later
ОтветитьI LOVED this show when I was a teenager. It was mid-nineties reruns on Sci-Fi channel after school.
ОтветитьThe Flash and TMNT were the core of my existence when I was about 11. Nothing pissed me off more than to have the Flash interrupted by a stupid football game and it seemed like it happened all the time.
ОтветитьThis Flash is head and shoulders better than the new Flash. The suit is more faithful to the source material as is the actor playing him who actually had muscle and not some skinny scrawny Flash.
ОтветитьDon't understand John ship was no one why would he think of turning this down. The role made his career and kept him fed through the years
ОтветитьI used to watch this, and I loved it. It's so sad that it didn't last.
ОтветитьDon't diss the Duck. That was a brillant movie!
ОтветитьFlash in an Adidas red track suit would’ve too funny.
ОтветитьAmazing what love, passion and creativity can create
ОтветитьMy grandma and I watched this every week when I was a kid.
ОтветитьYou should have mentioned that Shipp also played Jay Garrick
ОтветитьI still love this series and always will.
ОтветитьWhat happened? The series was too expensive to produce at the time. The visual effects were responsible for most of t he high budget. No CGI back then. A shame because I loved the series.
ОтветитьCBS was the wrong network to develop the program. It was the "old people" network and had no idea how to capture a young demo. They made a number of mistakes, the foremost being running it against the two highest rated shows at the time: Cosby and The Simpsons. Suicidal mistake. Gulf War news didn't help.
ОтветитьFun fact: Both John Wesley Shipp and Grant Gustin are from Norfolk, VA. So we’re the home of the Flash!
Grant was just in town last week.
I loved this show
ОтветитьI didn’t even like DC but as a comic book nerd this was mandatory viewing. Watched faithfully every week.
ОтветитьI would love to see , Flash:animated series.
ОтветитьMy son and I found Shipp's version of Flash a few years ago and have been downloading episodes and none of them have been a disappointment.
ОтветитьIts reverse flash was in 1990 show?
ОтветитьMan the eighties were awesome...but not for comic movies😅
ОтветитьThe 1990s The Flash is coming to Bluray baby! From Warner Brothers Archive, it's coming June 14th, it's a 4k remaster from original camera negatives, sadly no extras.
ОтветитьSpiderman 2 was a comic book Movie the was closest to the Comic Book and X-Men 2. And always Richards Donner Superman 1 & 2. I stand by your Statement about the Rocketeer!!, it's a shame there were never a follow up film. Robert Short!!! Thank yoU!!!, the issue what I heard about The Flash 90, it was little too dark. I like the CW flash much better, until the other horrible later series I stopped watching after the reverse Flash was gone, I left and glad I never returned. They ruined that show. Tried to come back with Savitar and Zoom was sold back, but left again after that!.
Ответитьthe problem with the flash 1990 the network kept moving its time slot it was never on the same day or week thats why it did not gain a following
ОтветитьI loved that show as a teenager! I thought that Shipp did a great job and had tremendous chemistry with Amanda Pays. I also had a small crush on Amanda Pays, so there's that as well 😂😂
ОтветитьThe Flash is better for tv than movies.
And the dill hole in the movie just doesn't have the right profile
Grant Gustin had the perfect profile for the Flash. Right nose slope
I loved this show. It's the reason Flash became such a favorite superhero for me as a kid.
ОтветитьFun show! I feel bad for anyone who never saw a better Flash than Ezra, because he’s awful.
ОтветитьThis was my flash wen I was a kid. I loved it. was great. greatings from Argentina
ОтветитьEzra SUCKS!
ОтветитьStil the most acurate n Best suit ever
