I wanna make my drawings whit india inkt and colour them in whit bombay india ink😁 i don,t wanna use paint anymore. I realized that i missed inking so mutch wen i saw other artists making cool drawings whit them and i missed inktober ofcourse. You can do so mutch whit ink that you can,t do whit acrylic paint or gouache. I am gonna buy some india ink one inking pen,sell my acrylic paint and my gouache and get on started whit inking again. 👍🏽👋🏾😁🥰 i love you,re video

I buy my watercolour paper pads on alliexpress. That paper i love so mutch. I also use mixed media paper from canson,bristol paper also from canson and cardboard cardstocking paper size A4 250 grams. Then i use dr Martins india ink in irridencent colour and reguelar,speedball india ink and manga nibs to draw whit. To clean my nibs i use sensitive soap 1000 ml bottle and i clean my nibs whit a old catton t shirt. I love this video

aahh this came on my recommended and it made me realize this was one of the first videos (alongside your watercolor ones) that introduced me to art and motivated me to start. 7 years later and my relationship with my drawings and painting has become so important to me, even though I'm not a professional my drawings really make me feel happy and I wish that seven years from now I keep growing and evolving just like you. Does alcohol (india) ink stain porcelain/ceramic palette? Or does it wipes away like watercolors? I'm about to buy my first inks and don't want to ruin my watercolor palette!

do you use various colored inks very much, or just plain black? can I ask
plus what about...multi medias such as collage (ink next to ...charcoal) lets say

I ahve worked a bit with micron pens, but never with actual ink. I'm gonna give this a try!

ok so i have used rice paper and personally (I mean very personally i hated it ...) at first... but after iunderstood i was only sticking to what other ppl did so i started to experiment and yes my each fibre of body screams its litrally the best ppaer in the world so yea if u connect with the papers style its amazing if u dont..... um idk much but thats why it also gets hate (bassically not for everyone's style.)

I've been experimenting with watercolor and ink and what I've found is that mixed media is not so good if you like those big blooms. I think I prefer a hot pressed WC paper. It's a good balance between absorbency for color and smooth surface for inking. Just my 2 cents.

I'm not an expert but I know that Ink can be acidic and paper might already be treated with acid. If you want your art to last a long time, look for neutral ink and paper. Historical documents can often be found with the ink having eaten into the paper.

Just discovered you. And wished to God you were my teacher years ago. I'm old(senior). I gave up on art because of boring teachers. The last two years since my retirement I've come back. And yes still boring teachers. But you young lady, I can honestly say you are a rarity. Fun!! You actually are entertaining....and extremely informative....

What do you think about Platinum Carbon Black in for dip pens?? It’s what i use and really like it.

theres also dry brushing which is putting your brush in ink no water taking some off and painting right onto paper it leaves these scratchy ink lines these are good for adding a fur like affect or grass or how ever u wanna use it

I like your presentation but the background music is too loud and kinda teeth-gritting.

I love sumi-e paper, But I also love both Bristol board and vellum. It depends on what I am using. The rice paper I use with brushes, bristol board with dip pens and sometimes technical pens, and vellum with technical pens. But that's just how I wind up naturally using the materials. I imagine technical and dip pens, especially crow quill type nibs would tear through rice paper, so I haven't tried it.
