Thank you for your videos, they helped me prepare for my tier 2 support role interview. Here are the questions I was asked maybe you can do a video on them as well:

1. What is the difference between helpdesk and service desk?
2. What is bitlocker?
3. What is the protocol for sending emails?
4. What is the protocol for Active Directory?
5. What does the command gpudate do? (you answered this on in this video)
6. How do you set up Outlook on mobile?
7. What is DHCP?
8. What is DNS?
9. A user calls and tells you that he cannot access the share folder, how do you handle it?
10. How do you tell a user about the problem they are facing, if they are not knowledgeable in IT?

Our IT Help Desk Teams does not have access to the GPO editor that blocked.

I'm going for my first shot at a permanent Service Desk role in government tomorrow, feels like yesterday I was watching vids like this when I applied for my traineeship there 7 months ago, love it but I'm eager to progress. I'm giving it my best shot, but there may be another position coming in the future and this is my test run. Excitedly nervous but this will prove incredibly useful, almost fate you posted this Kev. Great video, gpupdate /force is great for enforcing policy for the lazy (me). I think tracecert and repadmin /replsummary for DCs are also very useful to view replication status of our DCs.

I have not watched your stuff in a while but hope you have landed a new role.

My A+ 2 exam is later this month and there was some good review here. I defiantly feel that I'm going to spend a lot of time studying up on CMD commands. This was really helpful, thanks Kev.
