This was a whole 8 years before i was born. I definitely see why he said the gap was never coming back. Him and his brothers had so much love put inro the music. I see the influence of parliament funkadelix but no other group was like greenwood archer and pine.

Just discovered this band they’re amazing!

I was always interested in attending a Gap Band concert in the mid 80s and even into the late 80s , in fact I anticipated attending various events that had a similar connotation to the aforementioned band , being the gap band , and everything that entails . I was never fortunate enough to be in attendance however and consequently my ability to comment is not as viable in terms of personal reflection and expeirence . ahh but I can lament that and also reinforce how much I did want that boogy to go down , rest assured I would have gotten extremely funky if the event would have conspired . alas now it is only a distant thing that should have been , just a shame , but I must carry on . At least I have this fine video to make my thoughts public and also enjoy .

I've never got the chance to see all 3 brothers on stage together since I'm a 90s baby. I'm so very grateful though that I got to see Charlie since he's been a solo artist. His 2017 tour with Fantasia and Johnny Gill was amazing! That brotha puts on a show! Top notch entertainment!
