I am in the process of buying a 21 LTV with 400 watts of solar and AGM batteries. I want to upgrade, but I live in Florida.
ОтветитьWhat are you using to tie down the bag?
ОтветитьGreat idea
ОтветитьGood information Thanks
ОтветитьOne of the main factors why we chose the WRTB over the other LTV models... The garage is awesome! Have fun in Florida !
ОтветитьSince YT removed the dislike button, making the like button pointless. I now use neither. Sorry.
ОтветитьKeep in mind their is a 50% reduction factor in the tongue weight using a hitch extension. The Curt hitch LTV uses has a 600lb tongue weight; so we're at 300lbs (including your basket). I bought a cheap scale to weigh all items. That was be a big deal for me having a basket & a 2 bike carrier.
Happy Trails,
George
We use a very similar set up. An aluminum carrier from Harbor Freight and a bag from Amazon. Cargo carrier looks exactly the same. We have over 15,000 miles on it and it has worked well for us.
ОтветитьOf course your CCC is reduced by the total tongue weight. Always a bummer but great for bulky items.
ОтветитьI will shop for a welded steel carrier instead. I feel Aluminum (although light and strong) is not as tough structurally as steel, especially on the roads with some weight, time, and vibration.
ОтветитьWhat kind of toilet paper should I use in my Leisure Travel Van?
We have a macerator.
Thanks!
I’m looking at a StowAway2 carrier. We’re planning to start snowbirding next year were in Seattle area so I have to winterize this year.:( Good info.
ОтветитьWhen you add bikes, or anything else taller to this trailer, what do you do about the fact your license plate it covered? Looks like maybe you can put a plate on the back of this, is that true?
ОтветитьI like the cargo carrier. Is there any way we can add bike carrier along with this rack?
