Ariston Boiler Genius HE motherboard fix

Hello,

I made this video to show how I fixed the fault on a Genius HE Boiler motherboard.

The initial issue was; when switching on, it comes up with a rattling noise (clicking) as if someone was crashing some cornflakes.

The boiler does not power up, no lights, no timer, no control, nothing.

Quite bizzarre, that the first part of the video I forgot to switch the Microphone on, and had then to re-record the audio over it... middle and last parts are ok.



The fix was by replacing parts on the mobo itself.



Thanks to Amazon the Prime delivery arrived the same day!, ordered at 1am when I recorded the first part of the video, and then the pack came in before the end of the same day, I mean how cool is that?!... thanks Amazon... that's really great from you.



Anyhow, I hope my fix can help you also if you are having similar problems, alternatively, you are welcome to reach out and I would do my best to help you.

I replaced the bad components with the original exact same ones, ... never try to be too cleaver with a gas appliance!.
