For transmission, Try setting your first gear to around 129kph. set 6th gear to around 375kph. Now space out the rest of the gears evenly. Closer ratio high gear or gear max per course is where the speed increases come from. Optimization.

1200+ hp on comfort tires is gonna make the car less usable than 1000hp on a less peaky powerband compared to that turbo charger u put on it. Thats probably why PP went down. If you then put better tyres on the PP would increase dramatically

Actually there's 2. One near the exit of pit lane and the other is in the braking zone at the end of the straight

If you want a faster time than this at 25mins, used the Suzuki Escudo, which can do the full race in about 20 mins because it has similar HP but about 860kg, compared to the Hiace's 1550kg.

The fully customised gearbox messes the the PP. If you put it back to standard it goes upto like 750 pp 😂

I've got a WIDE SMILE on my face just by hearing the glorious tones of the A-Team's theme. Here's to hoping you won't get demonetized for including it in the video. I fully built the Hiace as soon as it released. I hadn't tried to run it in the Tokyo 600 event tho. I normally drive in over the car view point? and the Hiace is huge and right in the middle, quite uncomfortable for such a twisty track (not really, but most corners, although not very intense, are all mostly blind). The other car that IS a BEAST there is the Toyota 86 GRMN '16 with the 3UZ-FE-SC430 engine. It's got both POWER AND EFFICIENCY. It can make 8 to 9 laps EASY. It's SURE to be nerfed SOON, it's soo overpowered, you can tune it to develop 370kmph from grid start. P1 since turn ONE. It sure is a handful. But as soon as you're over lap 2, it's smooth sailing.

Absolutely love this build. Only adjustments I opted for compared to your tune were:
• 5/5 for ARBs & 2.84/2.99 for spring rate with 0.10 for front toe angle
• 10/15/50 for LSD settings
• 130/220 for downforce
• 290 for top speed on transmission

I chose to skip the turbochargers for fuel saving, but I got better cornering overall & virtually no wheelspin for a small trade-off of top speed. Nailed a 26 flat with those settings but you nailed an awesome baseline for such a notoriously twisted event!
