The 13,000 mile engine in the wrecked Crown Victoria has finally been removed and set aside so that the HVAC refrigeration system can be removed and installed in the good Crown Vic. This procedure is very similar to the previous engine removal procedure except that this time, only the engine was removed. The transmission was removed separately.

At this point, I'm almost ready to start putting things back together again rather than taking them apart. I'm getting closer and closer to getting the white Crown Vic. on the road again. I'm going to try to install the automatic climate control system, but that will require changing out the entire dashboard wiring harness. I'll give it a shot and see how it goes.(6/16/2013)

Are you reattaching the engine/xmission before reinstallation or doing each separate? I may have missed you explaining that part. My heart is with you, man!
