The sound reminded me of a chainsaw, when it was stuck in the dirt.
Ответитьthese upshifts man
ОтветитьThe body looks vaguely like a Yamaha Super Tenere.
ОтветитьThe MV engine sounds like a Triumph Tiger 800 engine!
ОтветитьNo wrong bike at the wrong time here on earth most riders can't afford a used royal enfield himalayan 411 at the point but they did build one hell of a bile
Ответитьas good as this bike surely is there's no logic whatsoever in taking 240kg refridgerator into challenging enduro trails ;)
Ответитьwell, now go back and watch the last 5 min or so. Maybe MV Agusta can save PMG?? MVA sort of went out of the frying pan and into the fire as far as financial stability. Still, if i one the lotto, i'm buying a couple of MV Augusta.
ОтветитьShort answer to the title's question: nothing will.
ОтветитьSeems like the Lamborghini Urus of the ADV bikes. Rates high in the maniacal laughter factor too.
ОтветитьChill a bit with sharpening. You turned the video into grain. :D
ОтветитьLucky enough to get to ride it once. BEST ADVENTURE BIKE FOR STREET RIDING by far.
Fast, insane sound and brakes are so precise. It’s definitely in my priority list now.
Pretty, but I'm not the target demo.
Also, my Africa Twin is deeply suspicious of that look. 🤨
Hey I think I saw you guys at the intersection of the 371 and 79. I was on the 1390 Duke.
ОтветитьMV agusta bills incredibly good stuff they built all the 2003 to 2009 Husqvarna in those bikes were badass
ОтветитьI don't think it will do well. Too much competition, especially since you can buy a Triumph 900 Rally Pro, save a few grand and have a more reliable bike. If I were to buy an MV, it would be a sporty road model like the Dragster/Brutale or F3. The biggest appeal of MV is performance/excitement and styling, neither matter that much on an ADV IMO.
ОтветитьSo they are competing with 16-18K motorcycles and expect to sell them in the low 20’s. MV Agusta is known for limited edition, expensive but very well crafted bikes, but this is to be thrown around on the dirt, tumble and scratched….Doubt that people will shell the low 20s for the regular version, never mind close to 30K for the limited edition….Dealer network is even worse than Aprillia….Love the looks as usual with a MV Agusta. Wish them good luck.
Ответить😎🤟
ОтветитьDealer network and parts availability will be everything. Here in Idaho we live in a motorcycle desert so I would never consider one.
ОтветитьJust before you started your off road critique, I was thinking to myself. I’ll take my Tiger’s t-plane crank over that any day. I watch all these vlogs and start lusting about a new bike until I get back on my Tiger. Although, my newest lust is the BMW 450GS. Can’t wait until you get your hands on one of those!
ОтветитьNice review, another top notch well engineered Italian to consider.
ОтветитьExcellent technique and advice on using the electronics and gear position to your benefit. Great content.
ОтветитьAs an MV Agusta 1090R owner (in Australia) I can say that they are amazing bikes to ride, similar experience to the summary here - however reliability and particularly customer service and support will the companies down fall unless they change their approach and take it seriously. I got the Africa Twin 1100 instead, which looks just as good and is a great adventure tourer for a lot less money.
ОтветитьDid you happen to keep track of the kinda fuel mileage you got the day riding in the intro? I have never got the MPG stated by manufacture, unless it was on the hwy, locked in.
ОтветитьThat exhaust size is ridiculous
ОтветитьIt's sounds like it really is only good on the highway, not off road. That and the outrageous price tag is a big turn off. Only for the rich.
ОтветитьAs soon as I hear that laugh I know it’s a fun bike!!😂
ОтветитьIt’s a beautiful bike, but I would not buy one. I would rent one for a week or two. Both the weight and pricing is almost the same as the GS 1300. However, if Yamaha made a T 900 triple and kept the weight down lower now we’re talking. Triple cylinders are awesome.
ОтветитьLove that exhaust note - that’s the sound of angels singing, right there! 😃❤️ But if I couldn’t quite get myself to pull the trigger on a Tuareg, I’m for sure not bold enough to buy an MV Agusta.
ОтветитьCan anyone tell what is going on with the dual sport offering from Yamaha and Kawasaki?
I started riding on the TW200. Now, the only option Yamaha is offering me for my next bike is the T7. Too top heavy. Not interested.
Kawasaki offers no dual sports above 300cc.
Why is a decent mid weight dual sport so hard to find?
How could Yamaha drop the ball like this? Are they paid by Honda to NOT complete in the mid weight dual sport class?
I would think Yamaha is good at conducting business.
Leaving a dead end in terms of rider progression makes no business sense.
I love the TW200. Now, I must choose another brand than Yamaha. Stupid Yamaha!
I adore both Ferrari and MV for what they inovate and create, but not within reach financially. Even pre-owned.
ОтветитьLove the looks , but it looks like a Ténéré XT1200 and a Africa Twin made a baby...
Is there still a place in the market for a brand like MV?
Expensive , exclusive , not a lot of dealerships , ...
A big reason for people to buy in to motorcycling is to get thrill's on a budget.
Hypercar performance for a fraction of the price , off road fun for a fraction of the price , riding convertible without being stuck in traffic , etc.
(New) Bikes these days cost what a sporty hatchback did cost 5 to 10 years ago 😅
Still... Lovely bike,what a sound!
thanks Ian a great video , ill stay with my ktm 690 enduro . cheers steve/australia
Ответитьmy ears are bleeding 🥵 please use google translater and click voice button - it's you not ah
ОтветитьTop video.
ОтветитьI expect cruise control on any bike with ride by wire throttle.
ОтветитьLooks way better than those hideous 2025 ktm’s. Camshaft’s should last longer too.
ОтветитьSounds wonderful! Personally, I wouldn't be interested in it as my ADV bike. Too heavy, ugly, and expensive. I will take my 890r on local single track in the PNW but I doubt anyone will be taking a MV out there.
Ответить$22k ... No way... Is the MV 2x better than my Tuareg?.. not on this earth
.
It sounds like Porsche 911
ОтветитьThat bike sounds...ANGRY
ОтветитьNo wonder they struggle to make money, all their bikes are insanely expensive, they brand themselves as a premium brand competing with BMW, Ducati, Triumph which they have a very solid share of that premium market. Their bikes are also insanely good looking, I'd love to have the MV AGUSTA LXP ENDURO VELOCE, which is the more on road version of this bike's review, I will need to find a better job, lol.
ОтветитьI feel, with that engine and their lack of attention to any weight savings, I would want this to be more of a sport touring bike. I think the Guzzi Mandello is a gorgeous bike and would be even more amazing with this engine. I would save Adventure riding for the 300 - 700cc twins and singles.
ОтветитьA triple always sounds great — but that’s really amazing. Dude you’re chasing a pikes peak champ on some of the best roads in the country! We just gotta keep the fascists out of our state!
ОтветитьThanks again, Ian. Yours and Zack’s “Daily Rider” are the most honest reviews I know of. Hope you can keep it up.
ОтветитьWhy is Ian classing this as a middle weight?
ОтветитьPretty exciting bike, but that price 😅
ОтветитьI'm not sure I'm following the categorisation lately. How come we're calling a 240kg bike a middle-weight but an Africa Twin at 231kg is a "big, heavy bike"? Does the Enduro Veloce feel significantly lighter or what?
ОтветитьYikes that price tag though!!!
ОтветитьI rode with a motorcycle club in Brazil. There was a MV Agusta and a Hyabusa among the owners. The espresso stops really fit into the culture. That was twenty years ago, but people have an espresso after refilling gas and there are more remote gas stations now.
