tbh you can do this 2 when there are knights, just skip the trolls, cuz they arent worth the runes :/ Knights offer less runes but faster cleartime wich can actualy be rly good when you plan to do events/keyjales cuz day 2 should be all about killing giant enemys/things like rotten forest etc

Only issue is my team dont stay together in 2/3 runs.

I went to the castle today and eneded up with 200k runes. But i died in the storm before i could reach a grace

A team of randoms i was with did this strat. And i thought wtf are you doing. When i realised it was crucible knights i pulle out the wylder shield and parried them all easily 😂 long story short we won against the nightlord 😂

Pathing? What's that? Some newfangled fad the youngsters are into? I run my expeditions with a strategy of "see enemy, smash enemy, ohh that's shiny, grab shiny!" then repeat

No but for real, I spent way too much time learning like dozens of paths for base game and then sote and then the convergence mod, I don't wanna path anymore 😢

I soloed every boss using all character and never hit 15. 14 was my max.

Something to keep in mind: Not reaching max level isn't the end of the world! You get much lower stats than the last each time you level up, effectively softcapping you at level 12, meaning so long as you've hit at least that much after the second night, you're on the expected curve to fight any of the Nightlords.
Farming runes can make the early parts of your run much easier however because they do not scale the enemies to characters leveled this high though. Powerleveling helps you on Night 1 and 2, but less on 3, basically. Not to mention this strategy allows you to loot the densest part of the map very efficiently early into your run, giving your team access to many high level weapons, a guaranteed talisman, and nearby merchants.

Best way to lvl up.... But you have to do this and this and this and it only works with if this happens. No shit

Crucible knights are tough yet the fattest in the castle area

It's funny how in the base game, Lions and Crucible knights were the bane, the doom, the nightmare... and now they are farming trash

The real catch is that they will most likely one shot you when you're level 4 so mistakes can be costly
beatable, but a party wipe is never out of the question

Hidden? It's a big F-off castle in the middle of the map. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to farm it.

Basically get good and get lucky with the correct enemy type.

if you get a relic to start with a stonesword key you'll be level 4 super fast

Talks about the MOST obvious and literally advertised in the fucking gameplay trailer of the game, source of xp. Also it isn't remotely the best, it's high risk medium reward. If you have a 3-man premade and you all set up so that your starting weapons have frost, bleed, poison (any 1 or two of those, all three if you swap the skill on your stating weapon to one that covers the third), rush a mine to level it to purple quality. Then, yeah, it's worth it to hit the castle early. Otherwise, only hit that place at level 7 if you're confident, 9 if not, at the earliest.

I managed to get a run where we got lvl 12 the first night without ever touching the castle at the center

Even better is that the boss on the bottom of the castle can drop legendary items very high chance and the boss on top most of the time gives purple loot as well

why would you not be able to do this after day 1?

Crucible castle and pest invasion got me to 13 on night one once

With rune up equips your looking at about 24k per knight I wish I can do more testing since one time I remember there being a 30k drop but wether it was from the knight that also drops the upgrade orb I couldn’t say since we actually split the work up because wyldwr was just parcor’ing and ulting on the first one he saw lol . my thought was someone else’s aside me also had the rune increase for teammates . upgrades do stack (if people are still even debating on that☠️ )
