As a Christian: I get it that many Christian or allegedly Christian communities behave like cults and I do find it important to point that out and be very radical about critisizing that. And perhaps I'm a bit butthurt by that comment from Sam, though I realize this is a comedy bit and he was playing a high functioning 5 year old 😅 in an improvised play about a cult sooo perhaps I'm overreacting. Just wanted to chime in and say, while I dislike the word religion, but the Christian faith is not a cult. You can disagree with the faith and dislike it and critisize it, but to take the cult examples and equate it to the very concept, and that for the organized religion or faith with the highest number of followers/believers, at least allegedly, is not reasonable imo. There's more than just money and history differentiating Christianity and a cult.

I was just thinking, if Sam can bring it in as a joke, perhaps it's ok if I comment on it seriously.

This was a rollercoaster going in and out through the Phantom Menace, Revenge of the Sith, Back to the future and Doctor Who :D

Also Tom's character is sooo close to Anakin Skywalker in some parts or is that just me. the craving for more power in the "visionary council" in a way leaving his wife and child etc
