I loved Javiers story. The whole time I felt as if I was genuinely protecting my family. I got fully immersed and was depressed when it was over

javi was mentioned in season 4 in the card game but you have to choose the question “have you met anyone famous” and clementine tells the group how she once met a famous baseball player, but that’s all we got :(

I actually enjoyed Season 3 but it’s fine if you don’t like it. I got the alone ending in season 2 which wasn’t as bad for season 3.

I really disliked how they got rid of Omid and Christa at the start of S2. I wanted to see more of Clementine interacting with her new guardians, characters we already knew. It had been a while since I played S1 and they killed Omid off before I was even properly reminded of why I really liked him, therefore my reaction was kinda "... oh, ok." Then they inserted a huge timeskip and got rid of Christa too in the most unceremonious manner ever. Which is pretty damn asinine because out of ALL people Clementine actually spent the MOST TIME with Christa (16 months just with her), we just didn't get to experience any of that with the time skip. Easiest way for them to drive the plot I guess but it felt rushed and unsatisfying in a "tell, don't show" manner when it SHOULD be "show, don't tell".
Getting rid of old characters like that became kind of a trend for them though. Like the absolute bullshit way they wrote off Kenny (and Jane) in S3. Basically screamed "hey we don't know what to do with this character since his fate was determinant in S2 so let's just take the easy way and quickly kill him off". Ugh. But like, Christa and Omid weren't even determinant. There was no reason to treat them like this. Christa especially got shat on since, like I said, Clementine actually spent the most time with her yet she's treated like a footnote.

Honestly I’d put season 3 over season 2 because I enjoyed the new set of characters with Clem being a side character, plus we got to see javi and Kate fall in love it’s kinda like what we never got to see between lee and Carley

I had the same season ranking but my opinion season 4 was really close getting first place cause it's also very great! But season 1 is still the best!

Lilly is actually the best villain in the series, she represents more than just survival of the fittest, she represents the loss of humanity, doing whatever you have to do to make your family survive, to sacrifice yourself for your community. I honestly think that season 4 was the best one.

Honestly one of my least favorite characters from season 2 is Bonnie like idk they could’ve made you keep Luke alive by not getting closer to the ice but no she decides to get closer to him and then it ends up killing Luke

I actually enjoyed Alvin like he’s one of the only people in the group that’s actually caring and kind. Like when you first meet him and the rest of the group he actually tries to be nice to clementine by telling her they have enough room and food for her but yeah I wish he didn’t die so early because it would’ve been cool to see him more but his death in chapter 3 is still cool

I hated David so much in season 3 that being able to get with his wife makes the game amazing to me.

Season 2 didn’t go through development hell but something close with so many changes in development and last minute changes, essentially higher management weren’t making a sequel to Season One but the kind of games they wanted to play. They interfered with the team to add or remove things they wanted. They even wanted to remove the iconic ‘still not bitten’ ,

I love season 2 the most even though it’s very flawed. But the actual gameplay of season 4 is a very good switch from what we got used to.

My season 2 ending was letting Jane die and then putting Kenny out of his misery. It was kinda weird but felt like a good ending for them.

Season 3 felt like they just didn’t know what to do with characters other than Clem and Javi, so they just kill everyone else.

Season 1 and 2 were the best coz of the survival and zombie side. Anyone could die at any moment. 3 was straight trash as you didn’t care about any of the new characters including the main javi. Season 4 started off great until Marlon died and it turned into some lgbt romance and pointless war. Who would care so much to turn children into soldiers? Got cringe.

I really loved the series as a whole! It's just mindbogglingly good and I think the writing is even better than the tv series! Clementine is SUCH a good character, you really form a relationship with her right from when she was a child to a teenager or young adult. Lee and Clem's relationship is just so good. A lot of heartbreaking instances do happen and the characters a re mix of fun and creative. LOVED IT! Best money I've ever spent on a game!
