A most EXCELLENT presentation! I had no idea the first Dementors were humans once before they became their own species. I always thought they were just another monster that just happened to resemble a grim reaper.

I love these deep dives into the lore and history, especially since they aren't really covered that in depth sometimes by the other story source materials.

Who knew there were so many Dark wizards besides Voldemort? Hopefully we can get some prequel movies or books about them in the future, some of them sound like fascinating characters.

Such a shame the Dementors weren't the guards of Azkaban by the time Dolores Umbitch got her just desserts by being sentenced to life imprisonment for her crimes. If any HP character deserved the Dementor's Kiss, it was that rotten, rancid little roach.

This needs to be a tv show.

If Excridiks or however you spell it. If he conjured Azkaban wouldn't when he died the prison would have disappeared right. Narrator said when he died it became visible. So wouldn't that mean the dark wizard didn't conjuure Azkaban. Im not sure. What do you think?

I truly believe that Diggory’s death was an assasination. The dementors are a politicians dream in a way, in how they are used to silence dissent. We see one political assassination (Barry crouch jr) and another attempted (Dudley demented). There is no way this was the first occasion. How many wizards and witches were murdered by evil politicians using the dementors?

What about doing one about Morgana and Cassandra Blavatsky???

Absoluteley fascinating! You are an artist at recounting HP! Perhaps the Dementors "evaporated": hear me out. Perhaps Voldemort attached himself with them and their immortality and when Voldy died, they simply no longer existed. You mentionned Horcruxes... maybe Voldy did some curse that binded the Hocruxes' magic with them...
It's just my theory!

at this point, the only things that make grindelwald and voldy being feared is the fact they're openly threatening the peace and voldy made more than 1 horcrux that unheard before. pale to comparison to the dark mages before them. but who am I to decide, I am not that knowledgeable of potterverse lore.
