I hate how other women are blamed for everything that henry did, mary became this because of her father and no one else, also henry should be called bloddy henry since he did the same.

The only thing that irritates me about Mary is she killed Lady Jane grey. I know it’s because she signed papers as if she was the legitimate queen. But she was no better than her father in that aspect

I hate the way they described Catherine. It wasn't because of her appearance, Henry was straight up just a disgusting person.

I always thought Catherine Howard was the most abused. Abandoned by her family, seduced at a young age, a teenager when Henry married her. Today it would be criminal. Sad.

The thing with Henry was he wanted it all no matter the cost, maybe to the point of being narcissistic.
It's all in the genes.

Elizabeth should be called Bloody Elizabeth because she also had people executed.
Mary was a devout catholic and she executed anyone who were protestant. Then after Mary's death Elizabeth did the same thing only in reverse executing anyone who was catholic cause she wanted England to be protestant.
Why would anyone want to be in that family of murderers? In fact,
the Tudor family were descended from Wm the Conqueror who had thousands killed so he could rule England.

Neither Henry or the Pope is the head of the church. That position belongs to Christ alone. Thank God I got away from Roman Catholicism. Trying to buy lost souls with indulgences. So crooked.

IMO she was murdering non Catholics to spite her father, reversing his sovereignty. She chose to burn innocent people rather than behead them, a more “merciful” way. Now she is burning in hell.

Henry grew tired of Catherine because she got fat and ugly???? Seriously? He divorced her because it was clear she would not be pregnant again and he was obcessed with having a male heir. But as we can see, is always easier to make women take the blame, 600 years ago and now.

Queen Mary I was no doubt a religious fundamentalist, but the need for burning people would likely not have existed, if her religion hadn't been attacked by her father and then her brother, and if she hadn't been thrown around for half her life, before she finally got the throne, that had rightfully been hers.
She became what people made her.
