What about the vertical angle of levers? That's important too. My CBR500 doesn't have any room for lever angle adjustment so that arms and hand make a straight line when you reach for them.
ОтветитьVery handy, cheers. Could you perhaps recommend an adjustable clutch lever handle?
ОтветитьVery nice thank you for teaching us
ОтветитьGreat help man!
ОтветитьBasic or not, I had no idea you could adjust these things stock. I always assumed you had to buy upgrades and adjustable parts! I just moved my shifter a bit and it's so much more comfortable now! Also, I never even considered tilting my whole brake lever/button assembly! That is a great tip too, one my moped could use!
Ответить👍
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьRemember...you may need to readjust your rear brake light after adjusting the rear brake.
ОтветитьAwesome for the beginner like me
ОтветитьThank you for your video. Im going to be adjusting my clutch cable today. It might be broken...not sure yet. Good tutorial though.
ОтветитьI was wondering about that last week. In my Ducati Monster was a little different but the principle was the same. Tks for your time to share.
ОтветитьI have done these jobs, to help my colleagues. I made their motorcycle fit for them and it helped them a lot, especially when they apply the front brake and the clutch, I also tuned the shifter and rear brake.
ОтветитьWatching this because I already sprained ng wrist. Too excited to use my new bike without adjusting the controls properly.
ОтветитьWow. This has helped me immensely thanks!
ОтветитьGreat thanks! I knew the dealer put my clutch and break levers at the wrong angle!
ОтветитьI was not aware you can adjust the relative position of the shifting lever. I will need to check it out on my bike. With my boots on, I seem to have to wedge my foot under to shift. Getting more clearance would be great if it doesn't mess with the shifting.
ОтветитьClutch is way too high for me and i Can't adjust the the angle of it. There is a cable/connector interfering with that.
ОтветитьThank you so much for posting this helpful video. I am getting back into taking motorcycle lessons to earn my Full Motorcycle licence next year so I can ride my motorcycle. :)
ОтветитьI took delivery of a new bike today and literally every control shown here needs to be adjusted. Now I know how, thanks
ОтветитьI have ridden for 35 years (not continuously having a bike) and didn't realize that about the shifter/rear brake. Thanks for some good information!
Ответитьfront brake,, that wheel 1 to 5.. doss it do anything ???
Ответитьthank you!!!
ОтветитьI want to adjust my brake lever position but i wonder if the reservoir should be in a horizontal position ....
ОтветитьThank you! I'm the perfect audience for this. You guys inspired me to ride and now I got rid of my darn shifter problem 🥳🥳
ОтветитьWhat kind of bike trickery is this? A bike with easy adjustable controls?
ОтветитьThank u Bro 👌
ОтветитьThank you for the lesson
ОтветитьGood tips, but I’m not a fan of two-finger braking. It’s just a poor habit people get into, and a technique used by cyclists. I’ve been riding for 20 years, and if you need to suddenly brake as in an emergency believe me, you’ll need all 4 fingers for that, and you also risk squashing and damaging your fingers, and you don’t the get the full force of braking …’cos two other fingers are still resting under the brake lever. If you ever watch motorbike cops and bike racers, it’s always 4 finger braking.
ОтветитьFor the rear brake lever, I turned the push rod on the master cylinder too far out, and now my brake is locked, and I can't screw the rod back in. How do I fix this?
Ответитьeven if i'm a little late with my comment.. you should know that adjusting the rear brake lever could make it permanently make contact and light ur brake lights.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThey should teach you this every time you buy a motorcycle for the first time.
Ответитьwhat the actual F. It was one of the best videos in length to useful info ratio. Thanks
ОтветитьI have a clutch adjustment spindle on my z900 does it just adjust the lever or does it adjust the clutch cable as well?
ОтветитьI bought my MT09 last year and have been complaining about the position of the brake foot peg, Im dumbfounded and amazed at how easy it really is....This is the first thing Im going to do when I hop back on my bike!!!
ОтветитьAs always good and simple instructions.
However, you may also want to mention that the rear brake light cable should be adjusted accordingly after adjusting the rear brake lever. Otherwise your rear light might not light up instantly when you hit the brakes.
Thanks a lot for all this valuable information. Cheers💪
ОтветитьWow it's like I bought a whole new bike. Thanks
Ответитьthat was good info, just what i was looking for
ОтветитьAnyone know if I can get an adjustable clutch lever for the 1200 Bandit - can't find anyone who stocks one (don't want the very short racing type). Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьHaving big mitts I simply adjust my fingers to fit the bike. Cheap and effective. 😆
ОтветитьVery clear . Thank you
ОтветитьI drive motos for long time never try like this, thanks bro
ОтветитьYOU'RE, THE MANN. ON//////DECK.😮😮😮😮😂
