Ukraine Admits Kursk Retreat, Rushes Troops As US Demands 'Concessions' Ahead of Saudi Talks

Kyiv will propose a ceasefire in the “sky and sea” in Saudi Arabia talks after Russia fired 58 missiles and 200 drones on Ukraine. An official told AFP this truce is “easy to install and to monitor.” Zelensky hopes for “results” and “continued support” while Marco Rubio said the move was “the kind of concession you would need to see.”

Peskov said Ukraine must decide if it “really wants peace” as the US is “waiting for a demonstration” of its intent. He added Moscow and Washington are at the “initial stage” of restoring ties.
Zakharova denied any planned US-Russia talks despite CNN claims. Trump’s halting of US military aid and intelligence-sharing with Kyiv has alarmed Ukraine and European allies.

Syrsky said Ukraine is reinforcing troops in Kursk with “electronic warfare and unmanned components” and there is “no threat of encirclement.”
