I am not trained on a level more than piano lessons as a child but have always been singing and playing some instruments self taught. I do have the pleasure of having a friend that is a "classical" composer and has taught me more of the theoretical parts of music and learning about the details of the chord progressions, the arrangements and the effects of the use of these tools on the experiences of the the listener that is so important but when used with skill will be something you don't think about consciously if you're not listening for it.

Feels like such journey I've gone through with you and Dimash, I remember that "the devils chord" was something discussed in one of the first videos I watched of yours and I knew how I was in for a treat ❤.

Beautiful performance...The reality is that Dimash is not a singer for the masses, too much talent, too much impeccable interpretation for a listener lacking good hearing and good taste to assimilate all this... this is music for connoisseurs... there is no comparison for the music and work of this man.

Thank you for your sincere reaction. I really like Dimash's songs in Kazakh, I like the way his voice sounds in Kazakh. And I always admire how he can tell a story through singing. Even if I don't understand the language he sings in, I'm still left with the feeling that I understood what he was singing about.

Honestly before watch your reaction I've already listened to this song but it doesn't touch me after watching your reaction and explanation about the song. Before this for me it just a simple repetitive song nothing exciting me much but after understand what you see the song is all about than I appreciate more about how good the song is

Despite it's on Kazakh, it's an average old style Russian song I am missing Igor Krutoy greatly. I would drop "One Sky" and "El Amor En Ti", however great compositions they are, for Igor. All those dozens of songs, he will never write for Dimash.

Maybe you don't want his followers 😊. He is obviously classically trained and nothing less of a musical genius than Dimash. He goes back further in time, centuries. He is a revival of the old bards or troubadours as the French called them. Amazing. Maybe you don't like Wales?
We learn in school a ballad from a famous Hungarian poet "The bards of Wales". It's beautiful, especially on our language. English is very poor, but it's translated and uploaded in YT recorded in Cardiff.
The guy is coming from those times. Story telling with out of this world musical environment.
