Lesson learned from 3,650 days as a graphic designer

Hey broo I am at college still learning graphic design what's your advice ??

Hey Jesse. I am currently working on my career change. Back in university, I was told graphic design was not a good path, so I chose accounting. I was never happy, I felt like this whole time I have been just existing and not living. I finally decided to study graphic design, and I can not wait to work as so. I am so happy I am doing it, and of course, scared I might not be "creative" enough. Thanks for your content. Gives me hope.

Recently moved away from my original field which was journalism because I realized what I loved the most was to create and as a beginner designer this video has been super inspiring and reassuring. Being creative means often being very curious and not always knowing what specific path to follow so this last advice has been very helpful in that regard. Keep doing what you do!

I am a Multimedia Artist Student in Philippines, i never learn anything about graphic design but after i found your channel it did change and now i keep learning about how to design posters. Thank you for sharing and creating valuable category of Graphic design

about the rest and burnout: do you have any tips for someone who is easily overstimulated? bc when i work from 10 am - 4 pm, i feel veeeery tired after and i barely have any energy left for my hobbies or having fun :(((( even though i really want to :(

treating design as art can be burdensome, especially in the areas of work you've experienced (commercial/agency stuff). it's motivating to see that it hasn't broken you and instead pushed you forward. can't wait to see what projects come next
