Surprisingly, many nonprofit organizations use Microsoft Word, Excel or Google Sheet to manage their project and seem to be struggling to manage tasks and projects. So in this video, I want to talk about how I manage projects with the free software Asana and hope you will learn how to use it.

When you start a project, you first have to identify individual tasks. Let's say if you want to plan on hosting a webinar or an event. You need to pick a date and a time, create a zoom link, create a landing page, build a registration form, promote it via your social media channel, send invitations, and your list goes on.

Second, you need to allocate deadlines for each task; otherwise, there is a risk of delaying your project and not completing it in time.

Third, you need to identify who is responsible for each task, especially if you're working with your team members.

If you're the project manager, you will have to manage those three things.
Tasks
Deadlines for each task
People who are responsible for those tasks.
I have been using the free version of Asana for the last two years. If you have less than 15 teammates, you don't need to upgrade to its premium version.

Watch this video and let me know what you think.
