Now that you bring it up, you should make a top 10 S.O.V. Slasher movie list.

To be fair, it doesn't seem to be as bad as some of the movies you reviewed lately, it's actually pretty brutal and has some nice kills, I could even consider it to be an actual slasher. Overall, it's not bad.

This movie and Fatal Exposure are two great SOV 80’s horror films. I don’t know about you but I’ve seen some terrible SOV films from the 80’s. Phantom Brother is gold in comparison

Your channel really inspired me to get into more obscure films. Because of you I found a rare horror vhs called "Parents" from vestron. Maybe you could review it. Thanks for inspiring another aspect of my lifelong film obsession.

I was hoping you'd cover this at some point. School me since it's been so long since I checked in on your channel, but have you done a review on Venus Flytrap or Monsters and Maniacs?

I purchased this without doing something important. I didn't look it up. The word 'obscure 80's film' drew me in. =(

Yeah, MOST people DO NOT want to "scrape the bottom", so to speak, and watch these weird and obscure old movies. No, MOST people just want to go for the currently "hot" flavor of the month major new releases at the Redbox or on the Netflix or at the Blockbuster video store or where ever. But people who DO are a real special rarity, and I have a tremendous respect and admiration for them! And while you of course sift through allot of gawd-awful crap in the process, you do occasionally find a hidden gem! And when you DO it's much more rewarding and meaningful because there's a real sense of DISCOVERY - like YOU found it for your self, NOT because of somebody or something else telling you about it or promoting it to you. Oh, and, while I don't consider myself a "hipster", I don't have any prejudice against SOV. Put another way, I don't say "Shot on video? .. . well then I hate it!". There are even a few SOV tittles that I do like and would single out as "classics" , for example Boarding House, Twisted Issues, The Resurection of Zachary Wheeler, Invitation From Hell, and the sketch comedy The Sex And Violence Family Hour. I don't think it was the MEDIUM of SOV it's self that was really the problem, but too many hack opportunists making use of it that gave it a bad name, cause a genuinely talented filmmaker can work in ANY medium and make it work I think.
