What mod is this

this jousting looks neat but have you tried the actual JOUSTING mod yet? - its made by Stepsword, who also made the Mahou Tsukai mod.

Mahou Tsukai is a magic mod base on Magecraft from the "Witch on the holy Night/A Magician's Night" series and other series that share the many iterations of the NASUVERSE! -- or in simpler terms, you'll recognize some stuff from "Fate/Stay Night" in the mod because all of the Fate series visual novels, games, ect, are also part of the "Nasuverse".

--- But anyways, yeah, the Jousting mod made by Stepsword pretty nice actually, works as is out of the box in almost any minecraft world from 1.12 all the way up to version 1.20.1 running via curseforge. It adds jousting as the name implies, as well as different types of lances which vary in weight and attack strength. each of which effect your chances of winning a jousting duel against another play, especially if they have a shield equipped while on their horse. It's actually pretty damn fun running down mobs with your lance while riding on horseback!

but there's a reason why i mentioned the Mahou Tsukai mod other then that its an epic magic mod. There's actually a secret/Legendary lance you can use for Jousting that's only obtainable when both mods are installed - as well as putting in a bit of investment into learning the magecraft system to be able to cast the "Power Consolidation" spell -- as well as throwing a lance into the magically summoned lake that's formed from said spell. But I mean hey! A legendary lance that when right clicked on the ground turns into an AoE weapon of mass destruction that will strike all hostile mobs (as well as any players who've attacked you) within 20 to 30 blocks radius of its placement ain't too shaby!
(I recommend using a diamond lance enchanted with smite 5 if you want to see the lance you get having great starting base stats, and then enchanting the new lance with Smite 5 and throwing it back in again! every time you use smite 5 on the lance you throw into the lake, the new copy of "Rhongomyniad" comes back with 5 more base damage then the last lance used to make it!)

And it can still be used as a regular lance would for Jousting even when your not using it to smite the undead and other "evil" mobs. -Plus it just looks badassed, the textures of the lance compared to the other basic lances in jousting alone is by far breathe taking. but again. its a legendary magical lance, its suppose to be badassed. Its based on "Rhongomyniad" the "Slaying-Spear" of king Arthur in Welsh Arthurian legends.

honest to god the Mahou Tsukai mod would be fun to play with in minecraft VR! xD
