It would have been so awesome to have been there to hear that fantastic performance. It broke my heart when he died but at least we still have his beautiful music to remember him by here in 2025.

And this is why i loved The Pink Panther so much growing up as a kid because of the musical scores in every episode. For me it is the music that draws me to the classic cartoons more than the actual story or even the dialogue (if any) of the toon

Indeed, one has to search to find it. It is a shame the algorithm developers promote the bad and bullshit of politics instead of the wonderfull compositions like this one wherin you learn to never underestimate the triangel besides the olso masterly played sax and trumpet players. An excelent bigband .

Who remembers the house version of this that was a big club hit in England in the mid/late 90s - it was called Panther Party or something?
