I always almost got this with Exu and borrowing Thorns, but i didn't have Blaze and i always got destroyed on 300kils wave

Finished this with Exu replacing Plat and also placed ifrit 3 tiles behind Mrytle! I also replaced Thorns with SA and it worked just fine!
Level of my operators (all E2) : Myrtle Level 40, Lappland Level 80, SA level 90, Rosa Level 40, Blaze Level 80, Ptilopsis Level 40, Whisperain level 40, Sutr level 90 (barely used her though), Exu Level 70, Mudrock Level 50, Phatom level 40 and ifrit level 40

who can i replace on rosa's spot? she's the only one that i dont have

Can we use the others AoE sniper instead Rosa & Platinum? I did not upgrade Plat and i don't have Rosa too :-:

So who do you use if you don't have Rosa or Phantom? I can always borrow a Lappland but I dunno

Can you use Exusiai or Rosmontis instead of Rosa?

Its really helpful on freezing stage when you have lappland

So i can confirm that units do not all need to be e2.
My squad.
e236m3 lappy same place,
e160 utage where mountain,
e233m2 Hoshi where blaze is,
e155 purestream to where Whips is,
e160 silence instead of T apple,
e222 Schwarz m1 skill 3 where rosa,
e170 platinum,
e215 M1 silver ash,
e216m1 sutr,
mytrle e135,
e130 waai fu to silence the slugs,
e220 gravel, and borrowed e2m3 thorns.
So I used utage skill 1 and Mytle where mountain was and that is important as i had to use skill to heal and mytle skill to suffle attacks from the red yeti caster otherwise they killed them.(so when utage is about to die use skill, now argro will be on myrtle, then when utage gets back up use myrtle skill to focus agro on utage, rise and repeat.
And instead of putting silver ash in front I put him on the other red tile and waited then used his skill with the boost.
Had to let the last shield guard on the top move passed and stop, then wait for surtr to cool down and deploy.
Schwarz works well to kill the heralds fast, just don't use skill late or the drones will go passed and bait with gravel.
There is more to it but that is the key points, the rest people can practice and figure out. Good luck.

High-end : "let's redeploy mountain facing right so he can dance and watch the battle" / gets 800 DP for no reason

Can i replace mountain with utage? I don't have high atk self healing

I wonder why Whisperain's attack sound is so jarring. Everything about her design is soft and fragile and gentle... and then her heals sound like distorted dubsteb I would expect from some crazy nuker caster character.

mizuki S3 is a nice additional dps for those tanky enemies chilling below whisperain and platinum if you forgot to deploy silverash. plus he's super cute.

So frustrating.. Lacking Platinum and Lapland (How?! After all this time?!) I can borrow one, but not the other, and I can't really find a suitable substitute for Platinum at that range. Tried E2 Meteor, too slow.. Archetto maybe?

This strategy worked for me and was easier to reproduce than I would have thought. Using a friend's Thorns to free up a slot (and also to give me an actual Thorns), my team was mostly the same:
Blaze lvl 40 E2
Platinum lvl 30 E2
Rosa lvl 25 E2
Whisperain lvl 40 E1
Myrtle lvl 1 E2
Lappland lvl 20 E1
Surtr lvl 45 E2
Ptilopsis lvl 21 E1
Kal'tsit lvl 70 E2

I replaced Mountain with Kal'tsit and used Mon3tr as both the guard dps and the fast redeployment when necessary. I used Bagpipe to get Myrtle's DP to 300+ quicker and then retreated Myrtle to give me another slot for dive bombing operators. Bagpipe actually came in clutch a few times when Mon3tr was busy. I used NTR over SilverAsh as I only just got my own SA and he's not quite there yet in terms of levels. Also her S2 was extremely useful for moments when certain bulky enemies broke through the lines and I needed a sort of second redeployment nuke. Other than that, I used Surtr in places when SA was deployed to soften the lines up and the map ended much the same way.

I'm surprise i copied this strategy even tho i did not have many of the operators including Thorns and i decided to borrow Platinum instead. I dropped everyone on the same exact spot, can you guess what did i use to replace Thorns that is NOT a guard?

Blaze ---> E1 Specter
Rosa ---> Sesa
Lapp --> Arene -- Then Monst3r when i retreated Myrtle
Whis ---> Lumen ( waaaaaaaaaaaaay better )
Thorn --> Horn

if u are like me, who came after sultifera navis, Lumen works great

Used Mlynar on the rightmost middle tile and he absolutely shredded every hard wave. If you have him, use him!

if you like your ears you can switch whisperain with lumen, his talent 1 does the same thing

Thorns + Horn is basically terminal cancer for the enemy

I dont have phantom, can I use texas alter and or yato alter?

Thanks for the comment that said Horn can replace Thorn. It worked for me. I used Shwarz E2 lv.60 instead of Platinum. Only have to activate her s3 once. Meteorite S1M3 instead of Rosa worked fine.

Couldn't use your low-end guide. Used this instead with substitutes:

Mountain - Mudrock

Blaze - Spectre

Whisperain - Lumen

Platinum - Exusiai S3M3 (module)

Rosa - Shirayuki (module)

Put GoldenGlow beside Ptilopsis to kill leaks and drop-in enemies

Put Horn behind Thorns after Myrtle got 300 DP
