How to Install Skateboard Wheels & Skate Bearings
Skateboard wheels are the part of your skateboard that allow you to move and help determine how fast you can go. Typically made of polyurethane, skateboard wheels come in a range of sizes, colors, and durability levels to suit your skateboard style and preference. Installing them properly is key; this video will show you how!

Step 1:
Remove axle nuts and speed washers.

Step 2:
Place bearing on the axle.
_________________________
Step 3:
Press the wheel over the bearing until you feel the bearing slide into the center of the wheel. Then insert the bearing spacer inside the wheel from the opposite side. If you hear a popping sound when you press the wheel onto the bearing it means the bearing is fully in. Do this for all four wheels.

Step 4:
Place one speed washer on the axle of the skateboard truck.

Step 5:
If you’re using a spacer, put it on the axle next. If not, install the wheel onto the axle.

Step 6:
Place second washer on the axle.
_________________________
Step 7:
With your skate tool or wrench, fasten the nut until there is no play—the wheel should be able to spin freely.
