This is why industrial engineers don't get along with any other engineer on a project. The amount of HUI issues on this and to not call it a prototype or wip beta is insane.

At least you got to print something minefield calibration straight out of the box been working with tech-support for two days been told to wait for “a few days“ for a firmware update that may or may not address the issue. Extremely disappointed.

Just fyi: I think your mic is clipping (quite often) and you might want to add a DeEsser..

Wanted one of these so bad. But, I wanted to wait and see if there were issues. I'll eat the price increase and wait for the wrinkles to be worked out.

I've just started my 3d printing journey a few months ago. With a huge learning curve, I started with the Ender 3 V2. Inexpensive, easy to use and tons of parts to upgrade with. I've just recieved my Ender 5 plus, it's still in the box and hopefully I'll have it up and running in a few days. I like this Bambu unit for the speed factor, I like the Sapphire plus as well since its a true core X-Y not a fake like the Ender 5. It seems that firmware is an issue with most of these printers out there. I guess I will have to spend some time learning how to configure Marlin which I'm sure will aggravate the hell out of me. Well my son the computer software code writer has expressed that he would figure it out and compile Marlin for me, I guess all that money spent on his education will pay off after all. Hopefully this unit will get ironed out for you. Love the channel

the spools should be riding on a bar or shaft of some sort to reduce drag or roller wheels in the bottom for the spools to roll on

6 months later I'm using a P1P and honestly it seems as close to perfect as is currently achievable out of FDM, and being under 5 grand is a nice bonus. Their slicer has actually become my favorite of any slicer and aside from maybe 2 prints my failed prints were due to issues on my end like trying to ramp the speed even further or miscalculating how big of a part I needed. One of those two failures was just bad luck, and while the other "failed" during a power outage, resumed with power, went a few layers and just stopped, I was able to resume it again by unplugging it and plugging it back in, inducing my own little power outage.
I'm not surprised to hear someone may have finally had issues as it is just a printer and probably not magic, but even with X1C flaws that may or may not be resolved I think BambuLab is a company worth keeping an eye on

Now if you send a file to the Printer its automaticly on sd Card

"IF" I buy one of these, I WILL be installing an SD card remote adaptor to make sd card swaps easier.

Happy to report that the current shipping unit with AMS (as of Jan 2023) is working amazingly well out of the box. The quality of PLA, ABS and PETG prints have been outstanding especially considering how fast the printer is. The "Engineering" side of the flex plate with a coat of glue stick hold onto ABS, PETG, PA and PC exceptionally well. The extra time before each print to get flow rates calibrated and bed levelling perfect are a pain but it has resulted in prints succeeding 90% of the time. I've thrown so much money at cheap 3D printers over the years with really average prints. The gamble to spend the extra on this one has really paid off. The AI which is looking at the print does actually work if anything looks like it's started printing spaghetti or a part has fallen off. I get notified and can decide if I want to continue or can the job. The AMS also works really well (slow to change colours though) even when the spools get low. So it does look like some of the issues Jessy has seen on the unit he received have been addressed.

I bought the x1c last week pre order and got notified to pay balance and ready to ship from DE warehouse.. so excited about this printer 🖨.

How were you able to get to the "secret menu" for the AMS System? I agree with you, I feel like this is something that should be readily available and not hidden away.

d you try PP nylon and another better filaments or you pirint only toys with pla?

Gonna wait for the competition to work out an opensource model and iron out the bugs. I've fallen for the hype too many times before.

The 3D printing game is a try-and-error thing. I'm new into this and I'm able to overcome most of these issues.

I wanted to know that now that you have the x1 3D printer, are you satisfied from any point of view or do you regret it and are you thinking of selling it?

I'm not sure how your having so many issues I've had mine for 6 months never had any issues except one clog which was my fault from not knowing what I was doing

I've had no issues with my new x1 carbon. The machine is simply amazing. Not one bad part since I've had it and some of the smoothest prints i've ever had...
