All you have to do is watch any episode of Star Trek: Discovery and you'll see they spent way too much on special effects but have sh*t writers who forget things they wrote earlier in the same episode. Then look at the last season of Picard, the first two were trash but the last season got fans back more than any of their projects in a decade, yet a 4th season or spin-off has yet to be greenlit. Whomever's running things there(Kurtzman) doesn't know what they're doing and keeps digging the money-hole deeper. Who would ever want to give them more cash or buy them when they're under tens of billions in debt with no idea how to get out of it?

I used to have Paramount+. Then they sent me an email telling me they were literally DOUBLING the price of my subscription. I unsubscribed immediately without any hesitation.

Multiple other providers pulled that stunt recently as well, including Crunchyroll, and I unsubscribed from all of them. I can understand a subscription going up a little bit, like $5 per year, but not doubling it with ridiculous excuses for it. I will literally never subscribe to Paramount+ or the others again. That was just too shady. I'll take my money elsewhere.

Yet, Paramount is wondering why Paramount+ wasn't some slam dunk for them?

The Paramount App is very buggy, and is very far behind netflix in ease of use, and how innovative it is.
I also cant see it outside of the U.S without VPN
there is commercials as well, even with my premium subscription.
I oly have it, because my Credit Card perks pay for it all

I like paramount . I enjoy cbs sunday morning and 60 minutes . I like some of their sitcoms. Paramount plus i enjoy their scifi stuff like Star Trek,halo and other shows .

Paramount Plus became too woke, too cancel culture, too much of a suppressor of free speech, too antiRepublican, too elitist, too pro Joe and Hunter, too pro Bidenomics, too reliant on its legacy media part of company and not developing new hit shows, lack of dividend growth, and too partisan in its politics that all contributed to its financial demise. You cannot be toxic to half the country and run a successful media company. Very badly run media company like Disney and NBC Peacock.

This is Paramount trying to devalue itself and it's doing a good job to become a fancy dish for Sony and Apollo.

Sony gets Paramount Pictures along with the film and music copyrights, Apollo gets the rights to sell CBS, MTV, and Nickelodeon to other companies.
