He's a good business man. He did a few slimy things being on YT for over a decade. He tought people to not to fully trust these channels for spending their money on tech, even his own.
His testing and review are either paid or not given enough time for analysis.
They're there to show cool tech and what they like about it.

Problem with that sentiment is I have no way of knowing if their future reported values are accurate and don't have the time, energy, or interest to fact check them with another channel or source. They've shown what I need to see to feel fine skipping their content in favor of another proven source.

Billet Labs are still going, thankfully, and have a nice, small range of products. The product that Linus slandered now actually works with either the 3090ti FE or 4090 FE, presumably because it comes with an adapter piece for each card. It's also sold out currently, indicating that they have good demand for it.
