How To: Diagnose and Replace a PCV Valve

"Harmful oil vapours..."? There's nothing harmful about oil vapour in an engine - so, what's that malarkey about?

My 2007 Jeep Liberty does not have this, there is no pcv valve

I bought a new fuelmeiser pcv valve and was wondering if you blow in it should it be completely sealed, the valve I bought very slowly leaks air as I blow into it is this ok or should I send it back?

No diagnosis. Just replace it yourself. It's easier than changing the tire.

I wish mine was that easy to change. Ford put it on the back of the block; close to the firewall. With my bear paw hands, it's tough to get back there! And it's in a blind spot, so you have to work by touch.🙄

I noticed my pickup idling funny like it wanted to stall, took it to my local Firestone and they said it was rusty and they cleaned it up for free.

I inherited the truck from my father and I the oil change place said I’ve been burning massive amounts of oil and have my PCV check due to its never been replaced. No smoke and have great power still just massive oil consumption

Mine is inside the valve cover. Gotta take off the intake manifold and valve cover to get to it😅
