I have sprayed scotch guard and it’s a miracle! If something spills, it doesn’t soak in….it stays on top waiting to be wiped off…scotch guard is a must!

My kids are 12 & 14 and not only do they do all the dishes and trash but they are responsible to put away laundry. I start it and change it out and help with sorting. We also only hang up our clothes. Everyone does things differently but that's our system and it works.

By the way, the reason I haven't been watching is because we got a newborn in February and we get to adopt her. I'm adjusting to having a baby and we sold our house and next Friday we close on our new 5 bedroom 3 bath fixer upper. It's 6am and I'm watching your video before everyone wakes up. Lol Glad you got your new couch and the home is looking amazing. Also proud of your weight loss. That's a great accomplishment.

From one Mama to another;
A laundry basket for each child. Wash, dry, and separate clothes into their individual baskets. Each child takes their basket to their room, folds, and puts away their own clothes. Laundry is a a beast, especially when you have multiple kids! I raised 6 kids; I remember.... Keeping kids clothing weeded out really helps a lot. We all know we have way more clothes than we actually need. Another thing that helps; start off your day with a load of laundry. It can run while you do your morning routine. It really does help keeping it caught up. House is looking awesome 🎉🎉🎉

I love seeing Nanny and how sweet she is with the littles 🤗.. i used to be just like you completely overwhelmed with laundry and ended up with lots of loads at a time.. I realize that I had way too many clothes for myself and my children (I was definitely a cloths hoarder) so I went through everything and got rid of a lot.. you don't realize how many clothes you don't need, use or fit till you go through it all LOL.. then I taught my kids how to do their own laundry (they were so proud that they cld do it themselves).. I was never taught how to do adulting, and had to teach myself.. I know you said you had to do the same thing, so it'll be good for your littles to learn life skills and it'll help you out as well 🙂.. also, I just wanna say your smile is beautiful, getting brighter and brighter every video 😁.. and, the slower you lose the weight the longer you keep it off (that's what my doctor said anyways).. I recently gained 100lbs due to medication for Autoimmune disease, and am now slowly losing it.. I was frustrated bc I wasn't losing it as fast as I'd like 60lbs in a year.. but weight loss is weight loss no matter how long it takes.. and you're beautiful (inside and out) no matter what size you are.. Please remember the turtle won the race so never be ashamed of being the turtle. As for your microwave can you put it under cabinet where it’s accessible and you can plug in and keep in place for use to keep it off counter? That would solve the in and out and space in counter top. As long as door opens easily and kids use care placing items not to spill under cabinet

Your kids are not tiny kids anymore, and although i’m sure they help you out at times, do they have consistent chores of taking care of their own things? Like they are each old enough to have a hamper and do their own laundry (with your help in the beginning) several people doing smaller individual loads would take all the burden off you. And if you have a consistent, predictable schedule, kids usually like to take ownership of their own things. Just give each child a day or time, that is their laundry day. Another thing, is to not go to bed without picking up things and putting them in their place. What i do, is every time I leave a room for any reason, i take something that may be in the room, that shouldn’t be there, and drop it off where it needs to be, while Im on my way to where i was going when i decided to leave the room. I find that cleaning as you go in the kitchen makes the end of cooking chores easier. I have adhd, and if i dont break things down into smaller, easier, but consistent routines, i get very overwhelmed once it gets to be too much to do at one time, plus I’m 62 now and cant handle the big piled up clutter anymore. I have gotten rid of so many things i dont need or use anymore so that i dont have to keep cleaning and organizing “stuff” I try to focus on having things that i need, that have to have a function, and maybe they are pretty too…but i never go for just buying something just because its pretty and i like it…i try to keep it simple and easy.

Congrats on your loss! I'd love to see details on what you are doing to achieve your weight loss, I have struggled my entire life, always gaining and losing.

Just remember the logic of the ice cube. Sit an ice cube in a cold room and slowly turn up the heat one degree at a time. You can turn it up to 31 degrees (Fahrenheit) and that ice cube will still stay an ice cube. It's only once you hit that 32 degrees that it will finally start to melt. Progress is progress no matter how slow. You're doin great!

Try making a built in shelf inside of your island where it is out of the way and still usable and easily accessible. There are ideas online

Hello marina I have 7 kids all 12 and under I used to do laundry on my own but what I do now is wash it all and then we all sit down in the living room and we each fold our own clothes except my two small girls and of course the baby who’s only 6 months but this has helped tremendously 😊❤
