God damn this make sense, didnt get knee surgery but my knees hurt occasionally which makes me ultra aware of my movement, which makes walking a task.

And you should. ACLs are precious and must be protected. Most people recklessly abandon their ACL’s because they don’t place value on them

Our Native ACL has spatial awareness cells while the graft placed has none, after surgery Our Brain has to make up for that extra info by itself.
Unfortunately learnt this when my ACL was gone. 😅

I had acl surgery in 2018. But rehabilitation had not done well. Still I feel pain in under that left knee in-side. I can’t do sports as previous. Can I have recovery actions for this post surgery situation? Please help

The brain is doing that for a reason. Be arsenal it doesn't want to go through the insane trauma and depression of acl surgery again
Think of it as a blessing that you can still walk and run.

Had 2 ACL ops on one knee, 7 MCL ops...by far the most difficult was the MCL

Four months post ACL/meniscus surgery, I'm still swollen and my knee is popping, but I am very active and work out daily, so I may be overdoing it. A high quality compression sock (foot to upper thigh) minimizes the issues almost completely and I walk and even jog with confidence. But the fear or reinjury is persistent, so it will be interesting to see what my brain allows me to do five or six months from now when I return to ultimate frisbee.
