Zamzam Bazaar: A local market near Eyüp Sultan Mosque, specializing in selling edible products, sweets, pastries, dried fruits, and various local snacks.
Mithatpaşa Street: This street is usually filled with diverse shops, restaurants, cafes, and local stores, serving as a local shopping center.
The mosque is named after Eyüp Sultan, who was a close companion of Prophet Muhammad and died during the early Arab campaigns into Anatolia. According to legend, after the Arab forces conquered Constantinople (now Istanbul) in 1453, the standard-bearer of the army, Halid Bin Zeyd, was buried on the same spot where Eyüp Sultan's tomb is now located. Over time, a mosque was constructed around the tomb to honor Eyüp Sultan's memory, and the area around the mosque became a sacred and revered site for Muslims.
