Hydrogen is not used to lift hot air balloons. Hot air balloons are listed by….hot air..
ОтветитьBrought down by its own stupidity. Germans did not know everything!
Ответитьand this, my boy, is how we know stairway to heaven...
ОтветитьOmg 😱 this is the first time I'm hearing about this wow I feel bad for the people may God rest their souls and continue to rest their souls
ОтветитьOh the humanity!
ОтветитьCool story! Could have done well without the men sitting on each during the credits.
EWWWW! Sick!
oh... yeah I know all of that
ОтветитьGlass Onion, anybody?
ОтветитьThe video ends where the story begins! But it still coveys the message.
ОтветитьLatest client of their work is Adani 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьf that haha you just seen 3 top tier countries try a safer build then yours and all lost horribly..just let it go
Ответитьwhat if they made the hull out of steel or iron?
ОтветитьWatching this after Hindenburg Research's Adani report.
ОтветитьBlimps looked so cool tho, I wish they were not a deadtrap
ОтветитьIs this about Adani?
Ответитьairships are pretty lit ngl
Ответитьany indians here?
ОтветитьInteresting views. It is to be known that if the zeppelin's as airship have dissapeared, the company itself is still existing and in good health. It is known as ZF and building gearbox for all the world. Probably all german cars are equipped with their gearboxes.
ОтветитьStill realistic with different materials and upgraded technology
ОтветитьI just noticed swasticas on the blimp.... UUUUUMMMM
I no longer feel bad.
oh the humanity
ОтветитьThat hydrogen and that shoddy repairs literally bring down the entire airship
ОтветитьIf i remember correctly, there is a private company that have Zeppelin but for heavy construction work, like moving fret, parts of a jumbo jet or to transport parts of Wind Mill on top of mountains.
For things too big to transport by plane, or too complicate by road. And i think it can go at 100 km/h
For all the commenters who "wish this technology was still around today" please know that Zeppelin is still an active company manufacturing Airships to this day. Goodyear continues to be a key buyer of these Zeppelins and you will see them floating above many major American sports events.
ОтветитьHelium-filled rigid airships fared even worse, all three soon met their fate. It was the enormous surface area of the hull that 'killed an entire industry' as this limited the speed to about 60 knots and caused control to oft be lost, it's the reason nearly all of the airships ended in disaster after a short career.
ОтветитьPeople back at that time really obsessed with vehicles but this huge balloon ended up like Titanic
ОтветитьLike adani....😅
ОтветитьI did not realize there were survivors from this
ОтветитьHidenburg? Oh I thought it was.. nvm
ОтветитьHeisenberg
ОтветитьYou're telling me I could be safely rolling around in a first class helium filled Hindenburg and we're just not doing that because of public perception of a hydrogen fueled disaster? Elon Musk needs to stop playing around with Mars and start focusing on important stuff like helium filled blimps. Worst case scenario, we all sound funny while we're flying.
ОтветитьI really respect @vox documentaries for the fact that they provide information with true sense and logic that even a child can understand! 👌
ОтветитьSo why don't we have helium passenger craft? I wouldn't mind flying international over a couple of days if I could have real space to move instead of being crammed in like a sardine. I swear half of modern long distance flying is recovering from flying.
ОтветитьWe could bring back airships. But we gotta plan the specific room services and the gas controls
ОтветитьMaxxxxxxx!
ОтветитьThe original 9/11
ОтветитьZeppelin still exists and is a thriving company.
Ответить"A very important element in this story - Hydrogen"
I see what you did there :')
R.i.p😢 for all the people.
Ответить140,000 m3 of highly inflammable gas floating around in the sky.
What could possibly go wrong ??
Did you really say helium isn’t flammable??
ОтветитьI love Vox and being such a History and Tech Nerd.
ОтветитьLol but airplanes crash all the time
ОтветитьTitanic of the skies
ОтветитьOh the humanity!
ОтветитьThe thing looks like a myth yet it was real. I wish it's developed again.
Ответитьliterally had no idea there were survivors of that thing.. especially after seeing the photos
ОтветитьBadaboom... Badapow!
Ответить
