ОтветитьIt's hard to imagine color TV being a current topic of conversation. 😂
ОтветитьHow funny that "Abercrombie and Fitch" was a COMPLETELY different store back in the '50's!!!
ОтветитьI just realized after years of watching this she says, "Ricky's been after me to lose a few pounds." That's messed up
Ответить😂😂😂
ОтветитьWould appreciate the video ads not blocking my view of the video before it is through!
ОтветитьIt's nice to know good Old Tom is doing well.....
ОтветитьEver notice that Ethel never smoked?
ОтветитьThis is so funny and classical! 🤣🤣🤣

ОтветитьThis episode shows that Lucy was before her time!
ОтветитьI was so happy that I grew up with this show!

ОтветитьEthel is really funny. 😂.has some really great lines. Fred too.😅
ОтветитьWhen you believe in something as strongly as Lucy and Desi did it pays to not obey the "powers that be". If they had listen to the "CBS suits" we wouldn't know either one of their names today.
ОтветитьETHEL mentioned Abercrombie & Fitch
Before it was famous for Young people clothes.
It was a high end sporting equipment company.
Times have certainly changed, women do love to talk about sports and politics these days and the men don't need to go to a separate room to do so.
ОтветитьTo be fair women weren’t allowed to tell jokes back then so it makes sense why men would avoid them. If women aren’t funny and they don’t share your interests it is much harder to have a good conversation then now. At least in 2024 women can be funny (except for female comedians who are far less funny than your average woman). Back then they weren’t allowed to be funny because of sexism or patriarchy or something so they were boring to be around 🤷♂️
ОтветитьI Love Lucy.. I know... I know.
