Great Video. What if you wanted to track something and show a circle around something but then make the circle go away?

Nice tutorial. The issue I'm experiencing is when the reference object goes out of frame, the attached text stays in frame jumping...

how to track anything else other than text in fusion?
anything I add just doesn't move around like text :/

heyhey, thx for the video! i have a question: Is it possible to track the disappearance of something with the planar tracker? say, I want to track an object that is not in the image from the beginning and the entry of this object is crucial for the scene. Whenever i try to do this, the tracker stops stops to early and the track is not working. I am even working with tracker markers especially for this scene. Does anybody have a solution for this?

what do you do if the object being tracked goes out of frame because its a panning shot, now my text gets stuck awkwardly on the edge of the video and then goes beck to the object being tracked when the object gets back into frame

How does the highlighting and tracking of the cursor movement work?

Hey Casey, I have two clips shot on a dolly on the same location, one is with the chair in the middle, the other is without the chair but with the girl on the right. Both shots start close and go lowly backwards on a dolly. The idea is to play the main clip with the chair, and then introduce the girl (ghost) at some point.

There are few problems, first both clips are moving at different speeds, this is somewhat manageable. Second problem is that both clips have some small jitters so when I align them, cut the girl with the power window and place her above the main clip, those two clips move relative to each other, but so slightly because of the small jitters.

Is this too much for Fusion to fix? I understand how match move works, however this is when just one of the clips have motion, however here both clips have motion relative to each other and both should be matched without a common reference point. Any idea how to do this? :)

is there a way to do this with the camera?

I cannot get this to work at all with the dent effect. It seems to now allow effects to be added to the tracker, which is rather useless. If I add the media in to the dent before adding to the tracker, the whole picture is then added to the track data and wobbles about all over the place. How do they expect you to use this?

Is there a way to add a tracker to paint?

OMG I've been working on this for a week now. How do we do this with the PatchReplacer? I doesn't move with the tracker as the text does in this tut. Doing the 'Modify With' 'Connect To' method doesn't work either because it crashes Resolve every time.

Could uu make that 3D? How much would it be different

what if I did input tracking but it doesn't affected the video?

Is there a way to track frame by frame? What if I don't want the tracker to do an entire clip? How about editing the points if it slips off?

I would like to ask a question regards tracking a subject that is rotating. Say I have a clip with a rotating subject (cube) that has a button on one side that, how would I go about having a tracked caption appear when button rotates in to view and to have the caption disappear when the button rotates out of view.
How would you go bout it ?

Hey, i was wondering... What if you like the text move into the camera view and exit it on the other side . . That tracking node would be lost . The point of interest is also out of the picture and thus no tracking data . ( Right ? )

How to work around that ?

Thanks. This may be my answer to a shot with a green-screened background. I have my camera panning R-to-L over several subjects and in the past, they sort of hovered across a static background (some courtyard still).

Now, if I make the background larger (L and R) and set a tracker node, it should look like I'm panning R-to-L within a scene and folks are positioned where they would be among the background as people come into view.

Does this approach make sense?

I have a 7sec clip. I want to track only from time 2-5secs, but not the full length of the clip. How can I do this?

I have a problem, if I add the text from fusion I don't know how to make the text pop up when I want to if I have 2 different texts

Is the fusion preview lut good tracking? Is it tracking the "baked" graphic or it's still tracking the "Log"? Thank you
