Is there a grit level (2000, 1500) your Gold Standard Polish is formulated to go down to with each pad, roughly or specifically? Thanks.
ОтветитьI like your videos(for the most part) and not trying to disrespect anyone here, but you guys make my freakin head hurt. You're trying to be informative(I get it)but you guys take it to extremes. I bet you could film a three hour video explaining how to put fuel in your car. I actually liked watching you both individually but since you've been together with a million questions and comments back and forth is too much. Its clear that you're targeting not only people thats never polished or detailed. Imma go get me a huge bottle of excedrine.
ОтветитьWould a wool pad be enough for a “one step?” There’s probably a question best answered by doing a test spot….
ОтветитьThe video quality seem to be an issue. There are cut scenes and frozen part. Probably issues with editing or something. Thumbs down!
Ответить20 years ago their moms were saying "why are these dishes not dry yet?"
They’re dwelling!
YES... you ARE over complicating it... but I guess that's to sell more products. Cutting compound/polish will remove mineral build up... and anything else built up on the surface. And why would I be concerned with this complicated prewash process to avoid micro scratches... if I'm literally prepping it to remove micro scratches. Dude, just clean it thoroughly and bust out the cutting compound and the buffer... then the finishing compound. Done deal
ОтветитьYes, it’s freezing intermittently
ОтветитьFor an average Car Owner it seems uneconomical to acquire all the “Gadgets” and Liquids to perform a “Deep Clean” Prep and Polish and Ceramic coating.
May be cheaper taking it to a Pro-Detailer every other Year.
Just saying……
How do you clean a pad if you don’t have a pad washer?
ОтветитьInstead of using All Clean can you also just wash your car using Rinseless or Subs before or isnt that enough?
ОтветитьThis is a way Way Way way overkill
ОтветитьNo one is perfect including car body.
Just do your best based on logic.
What do you use to damp the pad
ОтветитьWhen do you consider a polishing pad worn ? what are some of the signs of a worn pad ?
ОтветитьHow did a buffing pad video turn into you pitching an entire lines of products?
ОтветитьHi! If you don't have "Rinseless wash", what's the best "general" product to damp the pad? Thank you so much.
ОтветитьThe man's watch tells me he never does this. And when he found out there was a video he had to be in the video.
ОтветитьHi very helpful video could you help i have various colors of pads that i haven't used yet but how do i tell by the colors how aggressive they are ?
ОтветитьGood knowledgeable information 👌
ОтветитьI purchased a brand new car and the paint looks good. I want to ceramic coat. Should I wash and use the red pad or just wash and ceramic coat.
ОтветитьPad colors, are they universial across companies? Have pads from years ago but cant remember what was what
ОтветитьYou guys aren’t selling products are you 😂
ОтветитьGreat video. If you ceramic coating loses performance you do a complete de-contamination and clean as in the video and regain water beading. How would you know the result is just a cleaned ceramic coating vs a failed coating that needs replaced if the paint causes water to bead?
ОтветитьDo you need a new pad for every section when doing a car? Or can you reuse the same pad without cleaning it, just using less product down the line.. section like panel to panel or like side to top to side etc..?
ОтветитьI came here to find out about difference between polishing pads and ended with a degree in polishing.
ОтветитьBoring been detailing for over 30 yrs your videos are useless to anyone but thick americans who will believe this shit
ОтветитьWas the video freezing for anyone else?
ОтветитьWith the rotary and the red jeweling pad do you ever go above setting 3 on the speed. Thanks
ОтветитьWould using your rinseless wash all that be needed prior to putting on a spray on ceramic sealant
ОтветитьNot even joking, this is the first time I’ve seen a video (with more than 20 comments) where the channel responded to every single comment in the comment section 😂 that’s dedication.
ОтветитьWhat size pad fits on the bauer palm sander?
ОтветитьWhat i would like from you is a list of what i need to wash a ( car ) the soap the sprayer ect. then ill start the test on old metal with the polish . tks, bob
ОтветитьWill the yellow pad remove old ceramic or should I use wool pad first?
ОтветитьYou are making this way too complicated for "beginners", to a point you are actually discouraging most beginners to even start taking on this kind of work... Of course, very clearly, you are also trying to introduce/sale your products, so your video may be thorough but too much blah blah blah "for beginners". 👎
ОтветитьWill these pads be ok on a forced rotation polisher ? Ta
ОтветитьYvan 🐐 of detailing
ОтветитьWhat about those of us who don't have foamers and sprayers, etc
ОтветитьSo many questions answered...thank you
ОтветитьSo I use the red one as the final, but then how do I decide to use the wool pad or the yellow one for the 1st step?
Ответитьwhat polisher are you guys using? rotary or da? brand and backing plate size etc
ОтветитьI have so many products I have enough to last a life time. It's getting ridiculous.......I promised I'd not buy any more. And thought I'd seen all the tubers there was to see. However there is something very unique here with Ivan combined with great delivery feels honest and in touch with audience something that's made me change my mind about buying more products. So after asking for a link for UK distributors ( from which I got such a fast reply- personal touch) I've ordered products and looking forward to delivery.
ОтветитьHi guys where can i buy your products in the uk
ОтветитьCan we use the water spot remover as a drying aid? And if we have a DI system, is it even needed?
ОтветитьGreat video. Enjoy it a lot.
ОтветитьVery educational video, thanks guy!! I’m now a subscriber 👍 Question - where did you get the red gloves you’re wearing in this video?
ОтветитьWe could have started with a clean hood but instead we're going to shamelessly hock more of our expensive product on you !! Ha Ha !!
ОтветитьInstead of using the various “washing” solutions, does a “cleaner” product provide the same result - and then polish/wax? Thank you,
ОтветитьThat was fantastic. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is such a confusing topic for me. I always struggle between brand loyalty, gimmicks, and what works. Then you know some pros on here are sponsored, pushing products or are just brand loyal. I realize coarseness of pads are a real thing but is one pad brand really better than the other, rupes, Lake County, Griot's, etc etc. OMG I have a car I want to polish but the more I try to learn the more confusing it gets. lol
