Future of Power? The "ELECTROBID 1" Generator

By applying a quick, momentary high-voltage charge to the top plate once per complete rotation of the system, the flywheel can easily be kept turning with very little power consumption.

HOW IT WORKS: This prototype is running at 32v .4 amps - when the foil "spatula" makes contact with the top plate, it is positively charged and attracted to the lower plate. Upon then contacting the lower plate, the charge dissipates and the plate once more becomes negative / neutral - being attracted again to the top plate.

THEORY: A motor / generator can be attached to a larger-scale version, producing clean power from simple electrostatics / high-voltage capacitance.
