Karen Read hearing | Will Judge Cannone dismiss 2 charges over jury claims?

There's a major hearing Friday in the Karen Read case — at 2 p.m., Judge Beverly Cannone will hear arguments over whether to dismiss two charges against Read, including second-degree murder, because of claims from her lawyers that several jurors reached out to say they were in agreement she was not guilty on either charge in the death of her boyfriend, Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe. Cannone has already said in court that she expects whatever she decides in Norfolk Superior Court Friday to be appealed.
