Nutrition and Metabolism | Structural Biochemistry

Protein is a source of nutrition, but its nutritional value (aside from calories) is to make proteins within our own bodies. Proteins are the molecules that do all of the biochemical work - enzymes, receptors, messengers, carriers, regulation, and so on. And so, this video is more about protein structure than protein as a source of nutrition.
