,Привет. А почему мы скажем, на примере, Я помогаю жене, но Я слушаю жену? Я не могу смотреть какая разница между глаголов. Sorry, I can't make myself clear in Russian. The logic behind verbs like wait (to, for), listen (to), etc. would require accusative case --я жду девушку, ты слушаешь музыку, whereas help, give(to), donate(to) , etc. would require a dative case.
By the way, you are an exceptional teacher and really are contributing with me continuing with this challenge of learning Russian.
