Check out the Shark Expo in Cairns Australia, it was caught in Moreton Bay Qld by a man named Vic Hyslop and is 21 ft 4 inches.

I was with these three guys on a boat. A fisherman, a marine biologist, and a Sheriff. We encountered a 25ft great white. The shark eventually sunk the boat and ate the fisherman. I never even got wet.

Just a thought, but do the jaws shrink over time?

Curious that sometimes these sharks get lost, the monster of cojimar and the case that occurred in cananeia Brazil two monsters that if they were not captured could perhaps reach 7 meters by not Having competitors and a lot of food, The Brazilian monster was 5.5 meters tall, but what is surprising is that it weighed 3.5 tons And everything is recorded and confirmed, including the female is exhibited in a museum in the city of Cananeia.

I personally dont see much of a difference between a shark thats 14 foot or a shark thats 20+ feet. If you swim near either one and you live to tell the tale, its because the shark allowed it. Either one could bite you in half. Great whites are terrifying, but awesome apex predators.

The gal that swims with sharks (Ocean Ramsey i think her name is) only does so with sharks that are fat fat full. Its misleading and i think shes doing much more harm than good, especially where people are concerned. Someone is going to see that video and think sharks are just big puppy dogs. Its messed up. I imagine there will be some folks who wind up bitten in half thanks to her nonsense. People dont seem to understand that even a shark who bites and leaves you alone after can either kill you or severely disfigure you for life. Its not unheard of for great whites to bite people in half, bite off people's heads, or take a limb or two in a single bite. Just look at the story of Lewis Boren back in the 1980s. A shark that was estimated to be 23 feet long from the bite marks in his board (it bit through him and his board in a single bite). The shark took off most of his hip, chest, and abdomen. It even removed his heart in the bite. He likely died instantly and probably never even knew what hit him. They think that may have been a territorial bite because it didn't consume him. Crazy.

They can get that big, they're was one on utube that was over 30 ft, they're hard to verify because they are out at sea or deep down.

The basic point is great white sharks can get up to 20 feet which is enormous I challenge you to take a tape measure pulled out 20 feet to give yourself a better visual as to how enormous that actually is.

you can always have a rare case we haven't discovered most of the ocean so there could still be a 25 or 330 foot GW shark out there some humans can get up to 8 foot its rare but possible so really we don't know what secrets the ocean has either way good Video.

I think that the main thing to remember is that... The great white shark has been perfected by nature to be the ultimate solitary predator on the planet, so. In my humble opinion, the maximum size for a great white shark to be a successful hunter ( considering the animals they prey on,seals sealions and dolphins) should not exceed 20 feet, bearing in mind that it's food is very fast and agile. I reckon a great white shark of eg 25 foot would have trouble surviving.

I and my son were fishing off the coast of Pensacola, Florida in a 18 foot boat and a Tiger Shark about 14 foot surfaced by the boat and it's not a overestimate, trust me that was big enough for me.

20-23 ft is big enough. All the reason you need not to swim in the ocean.

Good video. You're not exaggerating things.for sensationalism but you keep the mind opened to 23 feet + rare specimens. This is rare, as most people are ready to believe there are 30 footers because that's scary and cool...or to discard any claim there's GW over 20 feet because they're shark enthusiast who want people to stop being afraid of them. Your attitude is the good one.

Two orher famous exemples of GW that may have been at least 23 feet long. The huge specimen that was seen in Australian waters in January of 2019...and the shark who killed Lewis Boren and left a huge bite mark on his surfboard. The bite marks says = 23 feet !

Also the GW who killed Lloyd Skinner was described as "dinosaur sized" by the eye witness. And the specimen who was recently filmed in Martha's Vineyard looks incredibly massive !!

obviously, on average, the white shark is 15-16 feet, but 20 feet is not an uncommon size. white sharks of that size are frequent, and it is not wrong to consider great white sharks as an animal measuring 6 meters at its peak.
it is equally true that specimens of larger dimensions, such as 7 or 8 meters, are to date only speculations or data not entirely ascertained, but honestly, I do not feel like excluding the possibility, at least in the past, when these sharks were much larger numerous and not yet persecuted by man (certainly a great white of 8 meters would be considered "exceptional" and not usual in size, as 5 or 6 meters can be)
