where can u advice someone to learn the proffesional course
ОтветитьI studied international gastronomy and am going to the US with in the next 7 months or so, just need to finish working at this restaurant as a cook so I can get my degree bc I have to have labor hours in the kitchen to be able to graduate, and I honestly hate the kitchen, I had a couple classes of bartending, mostly the basics and the history, and I would like to get a bartender job in the US mainly because of the money and bc of the talking environment, I’m very social and love meeting ppl, but also I love licour and the air conditioning, bc I get really sweaty working in the heat of the kitchen, which I hate, but what worries me is if bartending is the same amount of stress as I am experiencing right now at the kitchen, everything in bartending is a green flag for me but that one thing worries me.
Ответитьdo you think bartending course is worth it for someone who has 0 experience?
i think it cost around 250$
As a bartender myself, I can confidently say that it usually is beneficial for men to build themselves. But for women, it usually ruins them. It might sounds harsh but that's been my experience.
ОтветитьI’m a bartender and thinking about getting back to it!! Been doing it since ‘09 🍸
ОтветитьNew but learning fast. Huge help, thanks!
ОтветитьHow realistic or difficult is it for someone under the age of 21 to work as a bartender in the city?
ОтветитьDunno if this is the right thing for me im taking training but its only 4 days and the drinks we making well...the recipes ain't easy to remember, i got 0 expeirence and when i imagine myself working at a bad im getting cold feet as to the amount of pressure such as remembering recipies and the drinks itself
Im kinda doubting myself but maybe if i do gain a bit expeirence then my perspective might change
Im only doing bartender since im curious about it and wondering if its something i can like but no matter how much i think about it i prefer computers or video editing
Never thought of this until a customer told me its something i should look into, looks very doable and similar to fast food
Ответитьas a bartender i really enjoy videos from others passionate bartender ! that's dope
ОтветитьOne of the hardest things about bartending is figuring if your customer is drunk or just an idiot
Ответитьwow!
ОтветитьHii i am frome india
ОтветитьI’ve been wanting to go to bartending school. But what holds me back is speed and multitasking. I still try. Even if they’re my weakness, can I still do it? People think it’s not respectable schooling to study for, but not for me.
Ответитьstarted working at a bar a year ago, never know much about bartering, but everything can be learnt with enough practice and time, now i am full on barman working in a czech bar, working around 30hours a WEEKEND, sure, i dont have much of a time to sleep but, if yall are willing to take the same way, enjoy your time behind the bar guys (btw i am not sure if you should call it a bartending class, would probably call it like bartender practice or sum, cuz drinks are just recepees, but bartender is the one that makes them good, and the bar popular, not sure if its just my view of the thing or not) wish yall a great time
ОтветитьHy i want to work with u

ОтветитьI am definitely feeling this. I discovered bartending as an accident and I fell in love with it. I used to work at a wine company. Cooper's Hawk to be exact and I worked behind the wine taste encounter. And I would have customers regularly meet with me. Because I knew how to mixed wine, which is not something that a lot of people do, but it made me realize that I wanted to do bartending. And I'm at a place right now. In Indiana called Chatham hills Country Club. And I'm definitely learning. It's tips included, but it's a private Country Club. So they start to at 20 an hour, just for that finance. Because people don't really have to tip. However, I'm trying to take everything. I learn from this place because. I want to eventually be in a high-rise hotel. And be a master bartender. It also helps that I've been a therapist for 7 years. And it makes it a lot easier to transition over to the bar. Dealing with people as easy And not easy for others, but I wanna definitely be the best of the best in this field. I love this video. I love that you talk about the people that you meet. Cause you for sure. Meet a lot of people I've met military people, politicians, Engineers, billionaires, the list goes on, CEOs you've been doing this longer than me. So you definitely have more experience, but just the people I've met in a year that have shaken my hand and have given me referrals and their business cards and communications with them. You definitely do get to connect with other people and you feel like your on stage performing, you feel like you're putting on a show. Even though it's backworking at the end of the day you feel like you just left a party in the serotonin is through the roof in your body.
ОтветитьHey glad to found ur video, I badly need it🥺 I'm a freshman and choose a bartender course huhu but they said it had a entrance exam huhu but i was graduated on strand COMPUTER 😭
ОтветитьI'm a bartender from the UK and the difference in tipping culture has always fascinated me. What is the main reason that tipping is so much more important in America than it is in Europe? Is it because of how low minimum wage is?
ОтветитьI've been bartending for almost a year now and I love it too, super tiring but like you mentioned, the pay is great. I would like to know your opinion on something related to socializing: When people offer to buy you a drink (even if it's non-alcoholic) how often do you accept? Drinking while working obviously feels like torture so I try to avoid it. My coworkers don't like it either. But such people, usually young who are alone, just want someone to drink and chat with, and its natural for them to approach the bartenders. I myself used to be a very shy girl so I totally get it. So I feel very rude saying no to them. Often I'll ask them to wait/come back later in the night when my shifts over, or give them my number. This usually ends with hook-ups, fun nights but its not the same as getting to know someone.
Do you have any experience with this and how do you handle this? I would love to know your opinion ❤
Should I go to bartending school before trying to get into bartending, or should I just practice at home?
ОтветитьMhmmmmmmm hmmmm mhmmm
Eehh
Uhm…no, but…let’s hear your arguments.

ОтветитьI know a bartender that works at a casino. I asked him what's the most he's brought in, and he said 3K. He worked a Friday and Saturday, and it was just nonstop. Apparently, this has happened more than once but it's rare.
ОтветитьThe best money is to be made in gay bars. I know people who make 200k doing that. However, you’ve got to be thick skinned to deal with all the drama.
ОтветитьThanks! You've made this sound like the suckiest job in the world! No thanks.
ОтветитьI've been doing this as a hobby, but trying to be as professional as possible. I'll never quit my healthcare job, but maybe I can do this as a side hustle for fun and make money supporting my hobby. I already work until 6am as it is so I'm good with crazy hours.😂
ОтветитьI mean I don’t really want to be a bartender HOWEVER, my job as a front desk just requires me to work the bar 🥲
ОтветитьMost of the money comes from tips but I gotta split the tips with my coworkers and work holidays? Yah I’ve suddenly lost interest
ОтветитьWell I definitely figured out fast that I can’t do this. Thanks
Ответитьdope video, would love to barback for you
ОтветитьThe thing is, for me, I love the idea of bartending, as in making different kinds of drinks and serving them to people, but the way it actually plays out in reality, having a million different people trying to get your attention and order from you at once, having to keep track of another million people's orders at the same time, all while there's tons of noise, loud music, and there being a million things you need to keep on top of sounds like the perfect environment for me to lose my sanity 😂😅
