In bad terrain try to use low gear, less bouncy and no halting/shifting/hitching while the transmission is "gear hunting".
You can shut Kelly off by the turning radio message volume down in settings, there is a text log of everything said...hit esc if you need to see it.

Roadbuilding is not required, sand works fine and you spend less gas...play how you want to.
Sand paths do break down over time and might possibly need a little maintenance, cash and XP route rewards are usually completed before that happens.

The route vehicles tend to round off pathing between the points set by you, more points in turns can help quite a bit.
6 close route points in a turn is better than 2 spread out.

Be on the lookout for toy trucks and oil barrels that have the Warhammer 40k logo on them. You can bring these back to the construction depot and sell them for loads of money. There are 3 barrels and 5 toy trucks on Sunken

You could've taken shortcut through area with trees after crossing water to second pipe repair. But since you're murican/canadian you guys like to do everything hard/long way and then complain how difficult it is.

I thought the dump truck could refill the domptruck with sand anywhere on the map, so you don't need to drive back and forth.
Has Drae forgotten that, or has the game changed?

Drae could be handed a perfectly flat highway with no obstacles and still flip a truck in reverse gear, king of chaos engineering

Drae, just an advice. If you want people to stop getting mad at you, stop getting mad at the game for the mistakes you make while playing it. When you play the game badly and starts yelling for not getting the outcome you want, you also make your viewer angry. You might think that you are yelling at the game, but the ones that are at the receiving end are the viewers. People will get angry when anger is directed at them.

There are special oil drums that are worth 40,000 a piece on each map there could be two to three on each map

Apparantly toycars and barels with a warhamer symbol can be sold for a high price ingame, maybe keep an eye open just in case.
