The tying part is easy. You make the hand over hand part look easier than it actually is. How the hell you do that without the end coming out or it getting smaller on the inside?

Ammo knot is faster, easier, and doesnt become unraveled.

I use scissors ✂️ and trim off the excess.

If you don’t say “that’s not going anywhere”, then it will loosen and fall off. It’s a fact.

I showed this to this place I worked at for a very short time and they insisted that method doesn't work. Needless to say I quit very quickly cause I can't work around stupid. My buddy says they showed him this trick right after I left 😅😅

A twist on your strap and a few more wraps (3 or more) on the ratchet winch. Excess strap hitch looks good.

Put the rest of the strip under the strip and use ball holld down to pass inspection

One wrap around the spool and that load will be laying on the freeway in no time. 3 times around

Why wouldn't you secure the loop under the strap, not over it?
Gives you even more security.

Need a few more rotations on the ratchet. If you’ve only got it around once, a bump will knock it loose. But if you’ve got it wrapped around a few times, it’s not going anywhere. Plenty of videos out there for proof

My straps are always too tight to pass the whole loop under so i just pass one loop thru & do the flippy wrappy part. Drives my boss nuts because it takes me 5 seconds longer than his drunk spider impression

Call me crazy but you started with the strap pulled snug before wratcheting.. although that wasnt what this was about, you should probably throw that in there. Always have a couple rolls of belt wound up before tension is applied.
