Towing tip: Cars maximize torque the lower the gear youre in because those are the largest gears in the car and Zomboid accurately depicts this.

Therefore if youre struggling to tow even in first gear - there is one gear even lower than that. Reverse. Thats right, you wont go fast but you will have more torque so at least you wont stop.

The only problem with having a second floor bathroom is plumbing it becomes a bit more tricky. You absolutely can plumb it but its way easier plumbing stuff on the first floor.

For those unaware you can build a rain collector above or behind any sink and connect them for perfectly pure water.

Once you find the farming magazine you can unlock recipes to make disease cures for your plants. There are two curable diseases, and i think one that is basically insta death to your plants. Cigarettes can be used to make these disease cures <3

Idk if anybody answered, but, with the offset towing of the van, that is pretty realistic for "flat towing" especially with vehicles rear to rear. I wouldn't be surprised if that was intended behavior. Damn near impossible to correct unless somebody is steering the towed vehicle. Rear vehicle facing the same way as the towing vehicle can help, but in an apocalypse, who cares if youre taking up the whole road lmao

A paperclip can be used for crafting a fishing rod, even to repair the rod. (you'll need to be a fisherman or have read one of the angler magazines to do it though)
