This guy is completely right. Demand is for server and cloud engineers. Firstly, Microsoft certification goes into IP addressing in depth, including subnetting. You can easily and quickly learn about the OSI model, routers, switches vlans, etc. You don’t need to know the internal workings of how network data is transported. It’s redundant knowledge. I’ve worked as a server engineer for over 10 years and never once been asked about this. Also, nowadays it’s ethernet, fibre, switches and routers. That’s the bulk of your network. Anything else is legacy.
ОтветитьDo you think CompTIA security+ is worth getting ?
ОтветитьDon't listen to idiots like this.
ОтветитьThink again.
ОтветитьAlready a CCNA. What are your thoughts about the CCNP SECURITY.
ОтветитьWhat about ccnie, ccnp?
ОтветитьHi hope you are doing well, I wanted to ask you if I should still do the CCNA certification exam in 2024? I know that it is retiring on August 19 2024, I have a dimploma in Computer Networking and currently I am studying to do the compTIA security plus. Btw I just graduated so I still have no jobs offer. What do you recommended me to do?
Thanks for your time.
Hi,
I have 3 years of experience in basic networking within a law firm. I am very interested in Cloud and Cyber Security (specifically cloud security). Is it a good choice? I am also learning Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls on my own. Is this a good starting point? Furthermore, I am learning Azure from the Microsoft Learn Platform. Am I on the right track? Please give me valuable suggestions or recommend a platform, video lectures, or any other advice.
Please recommend a channel on Cybersecurity to learn as a beginner to advanced level, also please let me know regarding certification.Thank you so much in advance and keep making this kind of videos which is going to help all.
ОтветитьYou are speaking too fast. I don't comprehend
ОтветитьThanks for the heads up, I will look towards the cloud
ОтветитьI haven't interest in cyber security but i love to learn cisco bcoz I'm studying applied network infrastructure and system administration so getting ccna certifications is gud or not?
ОтветитьSuggest me some free cloud ressources as soon as possible.
ОтветитьThanks bro you saved my time and clear my path
ОтветитьFor cloud engineer which certification or course want to do ?
ОтветитьIts still a valuable certification for Network engineers. Most of the companies will still have Hybrid infrastructure so there will be always demand for a datacenter Engineer.
ОтветитьBro, what if you want to build your own cloud company like Aws or Microsoft ? Should u learn ccna or other networking stuffs ?
ОтветитьI hate this final exam for it
ОтветитьI’m sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous. It assures your knowledge in tcp/ip networks and has a bonus of assuring knowledge in Cisco IOS. It will absolutely help you get your foot in the door in the networking side of things. How do you think the “cloud” works? It’s all networking.
Ответитьthank you!
ОтветитьI finally got a job after few months of job search but one thing I can say is if you’re in Canada and a beginner or just in help desk, CCNA is still the best cert to move on. I’ve seen it the most on job postings, like more than any other cert including Network+ , Security+ etc. Most of the companies are still sticking with on prem infrastructure. But it’s also true that you can see AWS and Azure requirements alot as well. It completely depends on location and experience. If you already have few years of experience, then no need to go for CCNA, instead you can learn cloud but as a newbie, it pays off well.
ОтветитьIs mcsa good
Ответитьits a simple advice
if you want to go to Cloud path or cyber security take networking fundamentals and save 300$
but if you are in networking field ..you need more then CCNA
network eng us not trendy this times but its a good path and good job
Im not looking for the certificate either but i thought it would be helpful to learn it nonetheless; i will also learn cloud and cybersecurity as you recommended it was already on the list
ОтветитьYes that’s great but it gets your foot through the door
ОтветитьAlready got cloud certifications, didn't get my jack. They want experience, but how do you get experience?? Jacked up world
ОтветитьMr. UnixGuy
Question:
What should I study or what certification should I study - to become a Network administrator ?
I understand from your video that cloud and cyber security is in demand, but I enjoy more of the network side.
Cybersecurity is such a general term and concept. So is cloud although a Cloud architect is something more specific. Completely different disciplines.
ОтветитьHello sir i have a question. I am enrolled in bachelor in cybersecurity recently in one of the university of Germany. Should i focus on certifications like security+ or any other cybersecurity certification, or should i rather concentrate on my university study. Is the university's course enough to land on the job market ?
ОтветитьI am fresher for networking, and also i do not know the concept of networkung, whether i can choose ccna or cloud ☁️
ОтветитьThank you so much i was confused whether to do ccna or cyber security. I like to switch my field and a fresher to IT world which certification can i do to get a job?
ОтветитьI have a question:-
Is there no more need of ccna certified engineers to configure the devices at cloud service providers itself too?
And Cisco makes it difficult to renew..
ОтветитьIn 2021
ОтветитьIs this still true for 2024?
ОтветитьIt depends on what career pathway you are taking. Networks are here to stay, you still need to understand Networking to get into Cloud and security. Cisco owns the majority of the global market share so its worth paying to get a CCNA cert.
ОтветитьBro saying its not important while not Saying 2021
ОтветитьThanks man
ОтветитьI came to a realization to stop taking ccna cert after preparing for ccna since 2007 up to now.
ОтветитьIf you are not an IT guru don't bother with serious Cyber Security. Cloud is really good but when companies in your region requires it ! Where I am at companies pays 100k for CCNA and 120k-140k for CCNP.
So I am going for both in 2024.
ccna is still very much in demand... I'm Canada at least
ОтветитьI look at cloud jobs or cyber security jobs and they all need years of experience. How can I break into tech if the requirements are that crazy?
Thank you
Just get both! If you are on the helpdesk, CCNA will get you out of there quickly!
ОтветитьGreat idea what do you think about MSCA
ОтветитьThank you for this. I was told i should get this after my Security+... now i will focus on Cloud AWS and BTL1 certifications. Also, can you please post more content for entry level, resume boosting projects to help people changing careees to get in cybersecurity? I loved the one you posted and more content like that would be so beneficial for people like me.
ОтветитьGood thing I won’t live to the year 20201.
ОтветитьWhat about 2023 should i learn network plus ?
ОтветитьI got the JNCIA just to prove to all here arguing that CCNA is so useful. I forgot 80% of the things in the certification because I simply not use it in my day to day job. What's the BGP port or how many usable hosts there are in a /18 nobody knows on top of their head. We all google them or use a subnet calculator. Come on.
Ответитьhow about Linux? LPic
