A lot of traffic volume on US 97. The Oregon DOT needs to widen road to four lanes to Klamath Falls.🤔🤔🤔
ОтветитьGreat road trip! I see that Oregon finally raised the limit on 97, to "65". Even in the late 90's, it was still "55", with trucks limited to 50. And, the truck traffic was just as bad, back then.
ОтветитьLittle-known trivia about U.S. 97. It is the southernmost segment of the Alaska Highway system.
ОтветитьThanks for the 2022 tour of the Pacific Northwest. & BTW Kyle has done videos of US 97 in CA- esp the one to it's southern end at the I-5 in Weed- with "We Are the World" as the soundtrack as he was still using copyrighted music at the time of it's posting. Still a great video nonetheless.
ОтветитьIt looks like the mileage markers count in the opposite direction from the usual for n-s highways.
ОтветитьNice one as usual. I was surprised to see how lush it was east of the Cascades, unlike the East side of the Sierras, whether on 395 north of Reno (as you've shown previously), or 395 in Inyo and Mono Counties (also previously shown).
Any idea why the mile markers on 97 are North-to-south instead of South-to-North? Your I-5 videos show 5 MMs as going South-to-North from the CA state line.. And did they pump your gas at Love's? OR is one of the states that thinks you're too stupid to pump your own gas....(NJ is the other)
I really enjoyed this series. It was nice to see my old stomping ground in Tacoma. Thanks for a wonderful trip.
ОтветитьWhy are the roads in the states of Oregon, California, Nevada better than in the state of Washington
ОтветитьOutstanding InterstateKyle, thanks!
ОтветитьI'll likely never get out there, so thanks for the pix. An appropriate name for a California town ahead: Weed.
